Super portable shower for dogs (or humans after a swim)
Very happy! First brilliant speed of dispatch from a British family firm. Very good packaging. Love the pink.I have just used it to wash a patterdale and a small cockerpoo. One fill of 8l was fine. Pressure was good for a hand pumped shower and the addition of the optional dog shower brush that switches on and off let me give them a good shampoo. Both of these dogs are a bit scared of a normal shower's noise, but were fine with this shower.Next week I am training with my lab. I intend to take the shower so I can keep wetting her cooling vest. The website sells replacement washers etc so I am very confident that I will be using this shower so a long time. I really like that the insulated jacket wasn't *an extra*.Note about weight. As a 5'5" woman the 8l is heavy but OK to move without difficulty when full.

Works well with our dog
Works well cleaning our dog after going out for a walk, the only annoying thing is the hose and jet ride do not hold tide up when not in use, it comes undone and is annoying as it can hang down and even drag on the floor. You do need to keep pumping the plunger to maintain the pressure, but that’s not big issue. Good size to cover big dogs and even my muck books.

Great bit of kit
Good quality and so easy to use. I just used it after my muddy dog walk this morning for the first time, my dog was happy for me to spray all the mud off his legs and tummy which was good as he hates the normal hosepipe. I used it on the flat setting which was a nice gentle, wide spray, no scary noise and lovely warm water. Happy dog, happy me!

Bought to bath dogs
Perfectly acceptable does exactly what it says. I am very pleased with this purchase, holds enough water to bath a westie including a rinse.

better than others on the market
I have a very mucky Spaniel and 8ltrs is what it takes to get him vaguely clean. It's not perfect and it's not like using a mains hose but it's a reasonable portable alternative. It works best when there is someone to pump and someone to clean as pressure drops quickly as the water jets out. So I meet up with friends an hours drive away for a two hour walk followed by a pub lunch . If I fill up with hot water before we leave, three hours or so later the water is warm. I can clean the dog and dry him so he can be clean enough to go to the pub. The quality seems pretty good. It is pretty heavy. 8 Litres weighs 8 kilos so it's definitely something you would leave in your car. Doesn't require power other than human pumping. It's a 7/10 for me but not found anything better for the money.

Ok
This is great apart from the pressure which is a little disappointing. Keeps the water warm

Yes it can be used for human showers too...
First off, very happy with the service. I ordered with minutes to spare for next-day delivery and initially received an email message that they couldn't quite make it for dispatch in time, and it would be 2 days for delivery. I had a couple of hours to cancel the order if I wanted to, but went ahead. And then the item arrived the very next day anyway! By Royal Mail too, so it was a good performance all round.Currently in a situation where my shower is out of action for a week or two, and maybe longer. I hate going to public showers or to people's houses to use their showers, so of course went straight online to find something to tide me over. I had in mind something that would be entirely laws-of-physics based, would use warm or hot water that I would prepare myself, and wouldn't cost very much.Anything needing plumbing or wiring was out. Anything needing gas bottles to power it was out. Anything needing me to buy a separate massive bucket was out. All I wanted was something simple that would get the job done. This product is where the search ended. I got the 8L version after reading comments from previous buyers about the duration of the stream (they said 4 minutes, and that is about right). You have to hand-pressurise it yourself as you go, so keep the unit within easy reach just outside the showering area. The showerhead's thumb-control is a bonus as you can soak yourself, do your lathering, then rinse off exactly as if you were yourself a dog. There's no way to attach it to a wall or rail and it's slightly awakward showering with one hand, but you wet yourself first, turn off the flow, and then rinse after. You will need a hand on the thumb-control to turn the water off and on a few times, which is the only way it works. The 'shower' setting isn't as useful as the 'cone' setting – that's the one that feels most like a shower to me.Fill the tank to the brim with warm water (err on the side of cooler water for the first go), test it on your forearm, and sit the unit on something that puts it at chest-height. I used a mini-stepladder. Position this next to the shower area, and loop the shower attachment over the top or through a gap in the doors (the shower isn't powerful enough to ceate much spillage through the gap). I had to re-pressurise about 4 times during my shower.Yes it's a chore showering this way but the most important thing is it works. This shower is not just for muddy dogs, but for human householders/campers/whatever who might need it for any reason.
