does this clock actually tweet the hour. I had a clock that would chime 2 for 2 o'clock then three chimes for 3 O'clock etc etc.

No it doesn't. It just tweets , and that's it. It does tweet every hour , but not one tweet for one oclock , or 2 tweets for two o'clock , ect . i thought it did also before i bought it. Hope this helped :)

Can you cover the light sense or so it doesn’t chirp at all?

It doesn’t chirp at night bc it’s dark. But yes you could cover it when light out or I just take out the battery that allows the chirp and the clock part still works

What is the height with pendulum

I lost the pendulum in the move and I can not get the manufacturer to let me order a new one So my clock doesn’t work right now

No it doesn’t but it is a nice coo coo clock
