Years ago when I was building and cutting roofs I relied heavily on Marshall Gross and a TI-35 calculator(IYKYK) and was able to calculate anything I encountered. Fast forward 25 years where work and life have taken me other places and I was no longer using Trig and geometry on a regular basis, my ability to calculate has diminished. It would probably be fairly easy to go back and brush up with the help of Roof Framing, but I decided to come into the light and try a dedicated construction calculator for a few planned fanciful construction projects. Enter the Construction Master Pro. I haven't had it long enough to attest to it's durability but I'm confident that the Construction Master reputation for quality is deserved. Fortunately, mine also came with an Armadillo Case, which seems like it will be great for protecting the calculator. I took it out of the box and started performing calculations with the included quick start guide, which stores very conveniently in the back side of the calculator. Keystroke sequences are not always intuitive if you are accustomed to using a scientific calculator for these calcs, but it seems that with a little more practice they will became second nature, and there are short cuts built in to the process for more advanced calculations. I'm looking forward to mastering this calculator.....I definitely recommend it's purchase.

This is a replacement for one I had for 25 years from the same company. It honestly hasn't changed much other than the orange shell it comes with now. I think this is the gold standard for construction calculators.

You need this calculator it your in the construction feild or contracting and even helped planing loads for electrical service panels. where was this calculator 45 years ago! I needed this back than. 😁 Ease of use, fits in your pocket and is a nneded tool!
