This kit is an excellent value. The wire stripper is worthless, but everything else is great. Nice and flexible, soft and heat resistant silicone insulation is just what I wanted. I measured the stripped wire and it actually is 22 AWG. I also tested the wire, and it really seems to be tinned copper. I'm not a chemist or metallurgist. From the tests I performed, it really seems to be copper wire and not stainless or aluminum. I personally had no problem soldering this wire either. It solders well; fast and easy. High quality, especially considering the price. I work on R/C aircraft, and this is great wire for that application as well. I cannot recommend this kit enough!!!

Very high quality wire! We use this wire for our rockets to connect electronics and to connect to our black powder separation charges. There are a variety of colors that come with and the wires are very thin and flexible. It is easy to strip the wires with your thumbs as it is such thin wire. Overall amazing product with lots of variety.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I redid the wiring in an old Peavey Raptor, and added some push/pull switches with various mods. At first, I tried using fender branded cables that have cloth covering, and those were a massive pain in the rear, as wire strippers didn't work on them. So I got these, and these are perfect!Wire cutters can cut these like butter, and the coating is easy to strip off with a wire stripper. The 6 colors make it really easy to color-code your wiring, so you know what is going on if you ever want to go back and fix or replace anything.I'll have plenty of wire for my next two guitar projects, but whenever I run out, I'm coming straight back here!

I’m working on my guitars and needed extra wire and this was perfect. Different colors which is perfect and the wire is easy to cut and feels good. Look up what wire size you need but for working on my guitars this is fine. It also comes with zip ties which is super nice.
