I purchased this Schleich Elephant for my Wife because she just adores Elephants especially baby Elephants. The item was delivered in a timely fashion and came in a sufficiently protective swath of bubble wrap! Schleich is definitely a notch up from most animal figures. The quality relates to the carving work for the molds, the coloration, the weight of the casting, the durability of the material used and so forth. I used to own a toy store and we specialized in Action Figures. As such, I spent years around them and learned a great deal about the differences in quality and valuation. Schleich is among the best for Animal figures from everything stated above plus, the price was very good. No cheap imitation here don't settle for inferior brands or be persuaded by flashy advertisements. No, I have a clear conscience in saying that this was by far, the best choice for this type of figure. No doubt.

The Schleich female elephant is an amazing work of art. I am blown away by the detail, colors, texture and craftsmanship of this "toy." It truly is beautiful and enjoy looking at her. Even close up you feel you are looking into the eyes of an elephant. This would be a great addition to any collection and for educational purposes. I proudly display it like any other quality artwork. Even the bottom of the feet have a natural skin texture. The anatomy is accurate with no detail left out.

Just the most convincing miniature elephant toy I've ever seen. Bought one with my toddler girl at a toy store a few years ago. One of her favorite toys, and has held perfectly. When we started collecting some more of the Schleich animals for her and her little brother, I realized they make great gifts for other kids, so we bought a bunch, all well received. Glad these items are still available, but I'm worried the company is tending to make more of their animals too small now. This elephant is the perfect size for most kids to play with and display on a shelf. Grab it!

I got bunch of different animals for my two year old from this shop, and every single one of the is really good! The details, the paint job, texture and everything else is perfect!Pricey but definitely worth the money!

My child loves elephants. We have purchased several of these. They are really heavy and durable. He likes to take them outside and run them through dirt and the mulch. They are realistic looking and perfect for what I wanted. However, they do hurt if they are dropped on your feet or thrown. I would not recommend for a child under age 3.

Schleich products are the absolute best, high quality, realistic pieces for toy figures. The only brand I buy for my kids as there is truly no comparison. Price is very reasonable for what you get. The detail of this elephant is top notch and is a very heavy quality. They are works of art!! Highly recommended !! LOVE

Great detail, larger than most of the others I have bought, this one is the middle size of three elephants (fave animal of the rugrat! ). Can't fault it. I can see this collection growing in the years to come. Purchase one at least to appreciate the quality as well as detailing, you won't be sorry and I bet like me you will be wanting more and more of these!

My son loves this elephant! The only problem is that the paint comes off (very small spots) if its dropped, so I'm assuming it will look very worn over the years... it has only been a month since he had it and I'm already noticing spots where the paint came off.Also, VERY sturdy. Kinda heavy actually, so don't drop it or let your little one throw
