It’s really purple !!! My air compressor seems to enjoy it!! Air compressor are usually neglected in a corner of the garage. So the least thing we can do is to gave them a good quality oil.Is royal purple the best ever compressor oil probably not but I’m sure it’s not far from the top of the list!For me I buy it on Black Friday dealMoney/value/quality I can’t find better deal. I’m really happy with my purchase. It’s in my wish list as soon as I see a discount I’ll buy it again without hesitation

Good oil brand, but is thick oil, in cold weather turn off power. Need to empty all air from compressor to start without problem.

The pump threads that would screw on the bottle are not even close so the pump does not tighten down; it flops all over the place and if you are clumsy like me you will get oil all over the place. Second thing aboiut the pump; the suction tube is 1.5IN too short to reach the bottom of the bottle so the last 1/4 quart cant be suctioned up into the pump. This totally defeats the purpose of the pump all together. Just buy the oil and forgo the pump option for the additional 5.99. Pump IS NOT worth it at all.
