Good item and Quick dispatch

Advertised as very good condition, would suggest fair be better. Had clearly been a school text book with several names written inside the cover. Took a long time to arrive.

The authors of Tricolore have done it again! Quite literally. Building on the phenomenal success of the original Tricolore series in the 1980's, the updated books are in colour and comtemporay in outlook and feel. Many of the tried and tested exercises from the original level 2 book have been retained! The brilliant Perfect Tense activities "les sandwiches de Monsieur Coron" and "la vie est facile avec un robot" have been provided with new illustrations. Paradoxically, the illustrations don't seem to have quite the same quality as in the old book, but, nevertheless the exercises are comprehensive and informative. In addition, there are plenty of exercises on the irregular verbs, pouvoir and vouloir and extremely good units on café and restaurant, transport and booking hotels, probably the most important everyday topics you'll ever learn in a foreign language. This book is of immense use in adult education classes and is a must for anyone who remembers the old version, can no longer find it, or who wishes to supplement their current material. Students have commented favourably on the lively variety of the material and the neatly presented grammar exercises. The only drawback is the slightly small font used in the printing. Other than that, I highly recommend this book to anyone teaching or learning in an adult education setting or for independent learners.

I found that this book provided a very organized format for each lesson through which I am able to teach students the everyday French they want to learn.
