Q: will this bag hold my 4 piece black and decker 20V combo kit with the sawzall, work light, skill saw and drill along with my charger and 2 batteries??

Yes, I fit my 4 piece kit which includes a drill/driver, work light, reciprocating saw, and circular saw. Plus I have a second drill in there with 3 batteries, two chargers, and the two blades for the saws. Fits perfectly!!

Chargers, small hand tools, there are pouches inside and out for a variety of things.

Q: How is this any different than a standard tool bag; ie, what makes is so unique for the matrix system?

I'm not sure what the "Matrix system" is. those 2 dividers in the picture just Velcro to the sides. Not really effective dividers. All in all this is just a moderate tools bag. Nothing fancy about it. I do not like the plastic clips for the shoulder strap either to be honest
