What brand of wipes fit?

Most brand packs containing up to 100 wipes (there are too many brands worldwide to mention individually) - the wipes pocket has an opening large enough to fit plastic wipes case openings.

I haven't tried putting it in a washer...I don't think I would. However. The inside is some sort of plastic-like material and easy to wipe clean. All materials can be hand washed easily. It is a great product and has held up well with frequent use.

Can the wipes section be removed/Unzipped?

I don't think so. The wipes dispenser section and the diaper-holder section fold out like wings when you open up the pad and can both be accessed with one hand if necessary.
