Q: Does this product have a pleasant smell?

I love the smell, not perfumery like many others. Also, as I posted it will cut through skunk smell or it has on my golden five times! Other products that claim to do that cost much more and aren't as effective.

Q: Does this shampoo contain oatmeal? I was told oatmeal bc it's a grain causes more problems?

Q: I just bought this. But i like to add baking soda and peroxide to her normal shampoo to really clean her fur and maintain the white. Can i do that?

I do not think so. Combining other chemicals to the shampoos, might be a problem & possibly unsafe too. There are also shampoos made to whiten the dog's fur too. Safer to use. Then you could use this shampoo first & then follow with a whitening shampoos as the 2nd. wash. We do it & it works very well too.
