Q: So just to be clear, this presser foot is NOT compatible with the Singer 5400 Sew Mate?

I know it does not fit the Singer Selectra from the 1970's/80's. I don't know about the Singer Sew Mate.

Q: Will this fit a Craft Mate machine?

I don't know, but I did want to tell you it was very small and almost impossible to use.

Q: Will this fit my singer 6235?

The "Singer narrow rolled hem" presser foot, unfortunately, is not compatible with the Singer model 6235. The "Singer narrow rolled hem" presser foot is for a Low shank sewing machine and the Singer model 6235 is a Slant shank machine.
