It is relatively easy to assemble and fold back down but easier for me with two people . We have only set it up but haven’t used it yet. It seems in good quality and the size is exactly what we wanted!

Instructions are vague. Purpose is great.

First of all, the tent cost $115, which they sent back to me for some unknown reason. There was no communication as to why the money was sent back, but the tent arrived anyway and then they tried to take the money again, out of an account that didn’t have the right amount in it which caused me a $50 NSF from my bank.Second, the tent broke the first day we used it. It’s cheaply made and exorbitantly priced.I would just avoid this tent and this company altogether.

This shade tent is amazing. I got it for a beach trip to the Jersey shore. My partner and I are fair skinned so the sun does not play nice with us. This shade tent helped with that tremendously! My partner and I are tall, thin people and we were able to fit ourselves in our Tommy Bahama beach chairs, our cooler bag, tote bag and other items under this tent comfortably with room to spare.This tent is lightweight and sets up crazy fast. At the same time it is able to be taken down and packed up just as easily, within minutes! “Roll it up” and put it back in the handy carrying sleeve…done! Let’s go!2 things: I definitely recommend using the stakes provided because the tent, while very sturdy, the corners will lift in a steady breeze on the beach. We staked it down so the front corners wouldn’t lift, just for added security.The other thing is I think some padding could be added to the carrying strap of the tent sleeve. It’s a little wimpy compared to the size of the tent when it’s in the sleeve and can “cut” into your shoulder when walking with it slung over, not causing injury but just a minor discomfort (use your beach towel over your shoulder under the strap like I did and you’ll be fine!)BTW this does not count as a closed “tent” or a canopy, many beaches these days do not allow closed tents or canopies for whatever reason. There were about 10 of these same types of tents on the beach in asbury park and we did not get hassled at all, mostly just jealous looks from other beach goers who did not have a boss a$$ tent like ours for shade.Hurry up and buy this thing you’ll be glad you did!

I am very pleasantly surprised with high quality of this tent. We purchased it to serve as a sun shade for our toddler but we tested it on a windy WA beach instead. The wind was so strong that it took two people to open the tent but with sand in the three sand pockets it felt very sturdy (we didn’t use the anchors that came with the tent). It is super easy to assemble (a day before I opened it myself at home within a few sec), super easy to put back in the bag. Instruction is attached to the bag (that’s clever if you ever need it). The only thing I didn’t like at first was the fact that there is a floor, it has pros and cons, for us we wanted the kiddo to play with the sand inside the tent, but honestly this tent is huge and tall and it provides enough shade even if you sit next to it in a morning/afternoon. Besides you can probably cut or trim the floor; I just wasn’t ready to cut through a $100 tent just yet. If it had detachable floor (perhaps velcro on both sides half way inside), it would have been a perfect tent.It didn’t smell at all (unlike so many items sold nowadays that smell toxic). And the blue color is beautiful.I don’t trust items that have all 5-star reviews (as of 8/1/20) but I honestly am impressed and very happy with this purchase! If they start making it with a detachable floor I may purchase another one.
