Not for aquarium use
This statue is beautiful. Do not put in freshwater fish tank. Paint lifted off leaving white plaster showing and chemical residue in water. Description said it could go in fish tank. That was very disappointing. Had to clean out tank.

Not an aquarium ornament
I wish I had read the reviews before buying Neptune. I searched "aquarium ornament" on Amazon, and he came up. I assumed (wrongly) he was suitable for aquariums. I put him in the aquarium, and he ends up very light and unstable. He had to be wedged between stones to hold him in place. I read the description closely, but it did not mention aquarium use. Others have said 'Neptune paint might be toxic and peel in water'. (Hint - read reviews before buying). So, I took him out and put him on top of the aquarium as an ornament. Neptune is a fine statue with great detail. It's too bad he is not good in aquariums.
