I put the dye directly into the washing machines, and it was done. There were no mixes, no salt, no anything. I dyed a very large site. I followed the instructions to put the pour directly into the washing machine, and it worked perfectly.

I was very excited to try this new colour and new concept of dying. I have dyed clothes for many years but only ever chosen the hand dye options.Unfortunately this machine version has left blue and red speckles all over my beautiful bespoke cotton dress. I’ll definitely be going back to my faithful hand dying method next time.

It works fine but it is too much work and needs a lot of cleaning after you are done. Machine needs to be cleaned properly even after an empty cycles, there was still some colour so I had to wipe everything properly and run another cycle. But after all that work, the result was not absolutely perfect but was quite good.

Since it is from Henkel I had high expectations. I used the marine blue dye for my green IKEA dining chair covers which had faded in color over the years. I used three covers (c. 1.5kg) with one pod and hoped for some greenish/ blueish outcome. Though it’s a mixed fabric of cotton/synthetic, the color came out super strong and beautiful. The color is a dark blue with a green shade. It looks fantastic, like new. Better than expected. The whole process is simple. I can only recommend this product. Follow the instructions and you will receive amazing results.
