Brain Octane is definitely NOT XCT oil. XCT oil is a combination of C8 (caprylic acid) and C10 (capric acid). While Brain Octane is 100% C8 (caprylic acid), which converts to Ketones much much faster, and helps with brain function. This is why Brain Octane is more expensive. XCT oil is not Brain Octane. I think the description is just wrong, but I've ordered from here before and received Brain Octane. You should be safe to order and expect to get what is advertised in the picture, not the description. Hope this helps.
