Heaviest long reach jack I could find with a flat base.
This jack had the heaviest rating I could find for my engine hoist with the flat base mounting bracket. It works great and should be able to lift the heaviest load that I require.

This is cylinder was installed on my engine hoist and works perfectly.

Leaked over winter.
Had installed this in my cherry picker and used it a couple times for things under 1000lbs.Over winter a bunch of fluid leaked out around the seals.It still works (although prob needs a bit of fluid now) but I recommend looking elsewhere. A brand new ram should not leak for years especially when used for a fraction of its lifting ability.Was not stored with any load on the ram either.

Omega; Great brand great quality
A great option well Made in the USA. Got it open box for a super good deal (60% off). Was great to find the same exact brand Omega that is original to my 8 ton hoist that I own. Was slightly shorter than original-I’ll lose a bit of height, but, happy w/ purchase!

Leaking after 1st time using.
Works kinda. Tiny strokes to pull an engine out. Lever only work 1/3 of destince traveled.

Any adjustment to stop this?
I'm having a problem with this Jack. When a load is put on it the handle is forced up and the load drops. What needs to be done to stop that? I want to give Scott & SFA a huge thank you for resolving the problem. No arguments, no talking down to me just great customer service. Thank you Scott.
