Works Perfectly with Ring
This set up perfectly. It is a replacement for a pre-1980 ringer with a rat’s-nest of accumulated wires. I only needed to increase the wire entrance hole so the old wires could pass through. Everything set up easily and our new Ring bell wired up and worked immediately!

Very easy to install. Works with a wired doorbell. Loud enough to hear all throughout my house.

New design - not a fan.
Be aware that the user manual shows the installation of a different model, so you will have to adapt their instructions.And if you need to make any changes to the doorbell unit, like a new hole for routing wires that were installed for an earlier unit, you are out of luck.So, works fine, but the installation was quite difficult.

Perfect, Recommended
This is a complete unit with the cover but no transformer. For complete system you would buy this, transformer, and doorbell switch.I purchased the inside unit also because I did not realize it was included.
