Beautiful, but break them in and wear foot pads or bandages
I use these for performing as princesses and other characters and they are beautiful and very sturdy. The fit is fantastic as I have a hard time finding narrow enough character/musical theater dance shoes. The t strap helps a lot and they are very lightweight for a pair of heels. The bottom is a suede material so these will be great on hardwood and vinyl stages and especially on marley. Also they are very stable and I don't tweak my ankle with them on. I have a weird gait where my foot supinates occasionally and my ankle rolls outward but so far this doesn't happen in these shoes. I will say you MUST break these in before wearing them. The first time I wore them was in a parade, over an hour of walking and even though I was wearing heel socks, they rolled down and my foot started to bleed up by the big toe joint as I have mild bunions. So heed my warning and break them in and bandage up areas that tend to rub on your shoes.

Very nice dance shoe
I bought these for my daughter that teaches dance. They are true to size and a very nice width. The T Strap makes it a more sophisticated look. Would purchase again.

Great for the price, but buy the 1/2 size larger for sure
I am excited to own some Capezio's after years of wanting them for theatre or dance. They seem, for the price, quite sturdy & they do look nice. However, despite buying the half-size larger, as the Amazon reviews & site recommended, my toes hit at the ends. I've added Dr. Scholl's spongey pads into them to keep my feet -- especially the smaller one, as my feet are different sizes -- from sliding up & hitting at the top of the shoe. They'll work, but sadly the shoes aren't quite as comfortable as I'd hoped.

Did alright for an evening out
True to size. I'm 5'10," have flat feet, and wear a womans shoe size 12 medium. This is the first pair of heels I've worn in over 5 years. The heel height is manageable and still makes your derriere look nice. Comfortable enough to wear for 6 hours at a wedding and reception.Don't forget to scuff the bottom or you may fall on your face.

Broken heel!!! Do not buy!
The black Capezios shown are 11 years old and heavily used. The tan - purchased here on Amazon - are 3 weeks old. I have other Capezio jazz and character shoes that are years old as well. I don’t know what has happened to Capezio, but please don’t risk purchasing their shoes anymore. The heel broke during a dress rehearsal as I was going down stairs. I did fall and it did hurt. Needless to say, I’ve gone down many a stair successfully in my 11-year-old pair, and many other character and non-character heels throughout my life, so I don’t imagine it was user error. Fortunately besides a lovely bruise or two I wasn’t injured, but the point is - it could have been way worse. When I saw the price and purchased the shoe I assumed it would be the interior and exterior that would be of lesser quality (and it’s true - note the tears in the leather that had never happened to any of my previous character shoes). I only needed the shoes for one show so went with it. Again, I’d had great success with Capezio shoes for years so had no doubt these shoes would last for the 2 months I needed them. It sounds melodramatic, but I feel a little betrayed by the Capezio brand now.I’m shocked Capezio would sacrifice craftsmanship to the point of endangering performers’ safety. Don’t risk it.

Good-looking dance shoe
Although I have been a ballroom dancer since 2019 and have dabbled with dance lessons long before this I am only just learning about dance shoes. These shoes slide well but the ball of the shoe scuffs easily and even more importantly for me makes a lot of noise along with the heel and for someone with hyperacusis and delicate feet this is not good. The fit is about as good as to be expected but my right foot is bigger or different than my left one. It would have been more appropriate for the ball of the outsole to be covered in swede anyway and for me a rubber tip at the heel is appropriate even though this is not standard practice for ballroom women dancers. I like the overall look of the shoe.
