I am of the school of thought that expensive doesn't necessarily mean better. When I saw the substantial style of these shot glasses and felt their heft, I knew this is what I wanted to replace my conventional shot glasses. Then I saw the price. What on earth would justify. I read they were hand blown or crafted and certainly an individual should be compensated for their labors. Individual economics, of course, determine our purchasing decisions.At this stage of my senior citizen existence, I am of a mind to buying far fewer things and am in the minimalist camp of simplicity. the few things I do bring into my life and routine are things that i feel a connection to and as one Japanese organizer says, bring us joy. So, yes, I love and use these shot glasses. I feel they the cost is multiple times what they should be.

I bought these because they are the closest thing I could find to the glasses Pierce Brosnan drinks from in the James Bond movie "Tomorrow Never Dies."Not making any judgment at all on that movie good or bad, but just noting that I noticed the glasses used in that film and thought they were really cool, James Bond completely notwithstanding.

I've been searching for shot glasses this style for years. Single shot capacity with a thick heavy base. These particular ones were a birthday present for my boyfriend and he loved them. They are heavy and feel nice when clinking and feels nice in the hand. Very sturdy feeling. Definitely buy if you want a really solid shot glass with a thick heavy base. Never felt like these would tip over once and now match our champagne glasses by LSA.
