The perfect Capo has now arrived!
This is the most amazing Capo I have ever used. I watched a YouTube video on it, I have a lot of capos and my go to was a Thalia that cost a fortune from the states, it was good but not perfect. This is perfect. I play a J200 acoustic and it would not only be slightly out of tune but I felt the tone hated a capo after the second fret.I put on the pro plus and it was night and day. 2nd, 3rd, 5th & 7th fret no retuning and the tone was better than I’ve ever heard it with a capo on.I can’t begin to tell you how amazed I am at this capo, it’s in my case now and it will be the one I reach for.The price is great it does exactly what it says, so if your a guitarist that uses a capo you will not regret buying this one

Works perfectly on both my six string and twelve string guitars
I've been a Shub capo person for so long I forgot when I bought them. They work fine but I was not happy with the 12 string version. This is quite an expensive replacement but I am happy I bought it (and in comparison to the value of my guitars it is, after all, peanuts). It works perfectly on both my six string and twelve string guitars. I am particularly impressed with the even string tension, which if I am honest I am not sure my Shubs were good at. I find the screw tightening adjustment easy to use. I like it a lot and I recommend it!

Best capo I’ve owned so far.
Works great on my acoustics with 12” radius & my 9.5” electrics. All are 6 string guitars so I can’t comment for 12 strings. Just slide over just behind fret, tighten gently until strings stop buzzing.Causes minimal tuning issues. Store at nut when not in use. It’s very small & light so no “neck dive” issue. Can be used single handed too.

No buzzing, except for the bees
Works very well, but not cheap.

Say use capo
Lightweight, easy to use and the mouldable consistency of the ‘rubber’ cushion seems to make for a good fit.I bought this to replace older capos on which the ‘rubber’ cushion has become harder and leaves permanent grooves in the surface. The durability is something that only time will tell, but, for now, just exactly as needed.UPDATE: 2nd April 2025Sadly the adjust screw cap has snapped off after very little use. I only received this on 12th February 2025 and whilst using on a 12 string guitar and removing tension the capo knob on the adjuster came off. Initially I thought it just need screwing back on but, alas it is completely detached from the screw stem with no means available to me to fix it back on.Having read further reviews it would seem to be not so rare occurrence.Disappointing product from such a well renowned company.Returned for a refund - no sense in opting for a replacement in these circumstances.

Good guitar capo can’t go wrong with this

I'd heard it was good at keeping intonation but....
I'd heard it was good at keeping intonation but....it's not very secure on my OM42 , it slips very easily , if you set it light to keep intonation,it tends to move while playing leaving dead strings as it's only any good if placed immediately behind the fret. Expensive for what it is ,it's main innovation being the jelly like clamping surface , supposedly emulating a finger. Intonation is quite good but the capo moving about while playing is not good especially if gigging , just another worry you don't need , there are better capo's out there.

Could be the best capo
This capo is very pricey... but the fact that I can just stick it straight on a twelve string during a gig and actually get on with playing the song rather than spending the next two minutes wrestling it back in tune makes it worth every penny. And I can stick it on any guitar I own, electric or acoustic, and do the same because it just works.I haven't had it long so it remains to be seen if the flexible 'finger' pad material will hold up over years of use. If that hardens then it does sort of render the whole thing pointless, so it's a concern. Also some people have mentioned the screw mechanism failing, but it's unclear if that's the fault of the capo, or if they're just brutes (very rock n roll to be fair). But I've never had any issues with d'addario gear falling apart, and they do have a lifetime warranty, so I'm not too worried. If it does fail I will update this review.
