Sturdy
Best standard traps - work great - easy and strong. Much better than the plastic bait base.

Keep it simple
Snap traps are best. Using baits lets critters get into walls, other spaces and die. These are simple but effective.

Unacceptably poor quality
Unacceptably poor quality. I'm down to 6/12 traps and have yet to have them trigger for a rat. The staple holding the locking bar has come out on 4 of the traps. One trap has the snap bar bent poorly, where it is too short to stay assembled. As soon as you start to load the spring the "axle" slips out of the loop on the end. Forget about using them outdoors if they are exposed to sun or water. The wood will warp and split and the whole thing falls apart. Oh, and I'm not sure how it happens, but the copper components rust--not green like copper tarnishing, but red like iron. I want them to build a better rat trap like they used to.

Buy the metal grab tabs… stay away from plastic
Buy these over the ones with the plastic grabber tab, it won’t stay and it is dangerous for your fingers!!

They'll get the job done
Solid old type steel and wood traps, they'll snap real good. Worth the money.

Not for everyone, weak needs work to be effective
Not sure what easy to remove or scent have to do with the crappy staples and their poor or inconsistent alignment which render these pointless except to attract and feed pests. I got some of them to work, but one spring actually locked so the rodent got a free snack. In a hurry to get them going I overlooked this deficiency..The pin staple was mounted bent inward holding down the lever thus preventing it’s release..Staples do come out too, so you need channel locks and a cam of some sort to force them in enough to smash the tips over, preventing this. It’s kind of a pita and can damage the wood or other parts including your hands, but definitely necessary to get them up to task.
