Solid cable
Good cable. Works as intended and speeds check out.My motherboard has a 40 degree female USB 3.0 port which interferes with my case - this cable fixed that issue perfectly 10/10

Cable management made easy
If anyone else has experienced the pain of trying to fit the USB Header cable from the Front panel, then this cable eases that pain. Does exactly what I needed it to do, and cheaply too, as there are many alternatives for a lot more!Make sure to get the right orientation.

Good quality, does the job!
Replaced the default, stiff usb 3 connection which stuck out a mile, with this.Quality is very good, now you barely notice it's there. Happy!

Good idea but didn't work for me
Anyone that has built their own PC knows the horror that is "what to do with the front panel USB 3.0 cable?" This is adapter is a really good idea! It would have made cable management so much simpler, all nice and tidy but I could not get this working. Windows knew that the USB device was connected but as soon as I tried transferring data I had a whole host of problems. Constant disconnections from the external drive, to the external drive being no longer compatible with Windows and wouldn't even show in 'Disk Management'.I have gone back to just a USB 3.0 right angle header.I really wanted this to work because the cable management was SO MUCH better but unfortunately it didn't.FYI make sure you get the correct layout of the header on your M/B. Double check your M/B manual and look where the notch is on your M/B 😄

Just the job for the Lian-Li PC-O11D!
As a few people have mentioned when reviewing the case, the Lian-Li PC-O11 has one minor fault; the motherboard sits a bit low in the case, and can get in the way of the bottom headers. The front panel's USB3.0 plug is a large, moulded plug which would not fit with the Lian-Li ST120 fans fit in the bottom.I ordered the "Interface Faces Outward" version and it was quite simple to plug in with the cable feeding straight down and under the board through the cut-out to the back.Absolutely perfect for what I needed and functionality is spot so far - a real life saver. For reference, the relevant hardware shown is as follows:Case: Lian-Li PC-O11 Dynamic ATX Full Tower CaseFans: Lian-Li ST120 High Static Pressure FansMotherboard: MSI Z590 Gaming Carbon Wifi

Perfect for Lian Li 011D mini Air edition
Perfect for Lian Li 011D mini Air edition, couldn't use the bottom USB 3 header with a 280mm radiator in the bottom of the case without this cable.

Perfect for Lian-Li Case
When building my new PC, I was installing an Asus ROG Strix X570-E motherboard in to a Lian Li PC-O11 case and hit the problem many others have found in that the front panel USB 3.0 connector won't fit on the motherboard if you install fans at the bottom of the case. I've even seen one builder take a Dremel to one of his fans to get round this which is crazy if you've just spent loads on new hardware. This cable solved the problem perfectly and is long enough to go through the case cable management slots to the back so you don't have any unsightly cable joins.

Reasonable price.
When installing the outer sheath of insulation broke, leaving a gap of 12mm.. although didnt present a serious problem i do expect a quality product for the price. It does the job but i added zip tie,s to hold it together. The m+f connection is not a tight fitl due to the break on the socket end mentioned above. I will replace the extension in the future. Due to this failure on the product i give 3star rating.
