Dear customer, this cover will fit 2021 F150 with a 5'6" short truck bed.

Q: Can you install the hide away utility box under this cover being it has a box the cover rolls up in?

I would say possibly? the clearance from the box to the truck bed isnt a lot, and the drain tubes may get in your way if putting in a utility box.

This cover does not interfere with the operation of the automatic tailgate opening or closing. There is a small gap between the cover and the tailgate. Consequently, water can enter through this gap if it rains or when going through a car wash.
