Installed easily on a 21hp Briggs Vanguard (Japanese Diahatsu) horizontal shaft engine.Too soon to determine durability, but it was a perfect fit, performs as expected and is a fraction of the price of an OEM starter and appears to be of good quality

I bought this starter motor for my 12 year old Simplicity riding lawn mower. It fit perfectly and works great. Good function combined with the great price. I think this one deserves 5 stars.

The unit was delivered in the expected time and in good condition. I installed the starter motor which fit like the original and worked . Have been using my machine since I purchased the motor and have had no adverse problems . This was a good purchase and priced right , would recommend and if needed purchase again .

I had my doubts about an aftermarket starter. However, the price difference was enough to justify taking the risk. It appears to have paid off as the unit arrived fully functional. After several weeks of mowing and many starts/stops, the starter is performing as it should.Thanks for a good product guys.
