Ideal for the use intended
Was looking to buy a few of these for the family to try teeth whitening, they have worked out really well and in comparison to others on Amazon are absolutely great value for money. Don't often have to whiten teeth but I would buy again if available when the times comes.

Not great for whitening..
So I bought these for the purpose of whitening my teeth.Instructions are clear and easy to follow but the actual moulds are very hard to get right. I had to use all of them and still don't have a tight enough fitting pair.I managed to get the impressions of my teeth fairly well but I think the size of thr mould is just too big for me as when whitening, the gel just all comes out and is not securely kept within the mould.I'd say if your looking at this for the purpose of teeth whitening then it wouldn't be a good buy.Other than that, a tray is provided which also doubles as a case.

Highly susceptible to human error, but step by step I wish I had seen when I was ordering
I was sceptical as the reviews were so mixed. I wanted these to use as whitening trays. Getting 8 is 100% necessary as it takes a fair few tries. I didn’t actually manage to get a good impression of my bottom teeth and in the interest of time (I had a wedding I wanted to whiten my teeth for) I gave up and only did my top teeth. The top one came out pretty good though and is effective but it did take me 4 attempts. I’ve seen pics of peoples melted blobs and I’m afraid that is user error. I used boiling water straight from the kettle into a mug and dipped the moulds in, as soon as I saw the edges started to curl (between 5-10 seconds) under the water I’d pull it out and test tackiness. You have to be quite quick getting it from the mug to your mouth (making sure there’s no pools of boiling water in the mould) as it toughens quite quickly and you really have to push the moulds up against your teeth with your fingers to get a good impression. One thing I did notice was the moulds became more visually obvious once the mould dried, sometimes it looked like I hadn’t got a good mould and then when I went back to look after other attempts I realised it was actually a pretty good impression. Also worth noting that for my own impressions, it only went about 5 teeth back and then sort of tailed off, this wasn’t an issue for me with teeth whitening as those teeth are the only visible ones, but may be an issue if you wanted them for something else. Top tip: to trim the top down to the edge of your teeth (I needed to do this in order to wipe away any excess gel off of my gums to prevent irritation etc) I used a new pair of nail clippers and it worked an absolute treat. It would be really hard to get as close a cut as in my pic with normal scissors, although nail scissors would probably be ideal! Ive never had professional moulds but I imagine they would be smaller in the mouth; I can’t hardly talk properly with mine in, quite bulky.

Good enough to do the job
I find they are difficult to set for equal shaping across all teeth. Best method is to do teeth bleaching in stages and while setting the mold focus on setting it around a particular area and just do it in stages. I find these irritate my teeth nerves when i have them in my mouth i get a specific pain related to the use of these. However that being said you won't find a cheaper easier way to bleach teeth so if you can manage the down sides of these they are actually really useful. So since the played a huge role in cleaning my teeth and getting them whiter i still have to give them a decent rating because there are many products far far more expensive with much less forgiveness, at least these are cheap and get the job done.

Great value
These are exactly as the appear. Submerge in hot water, then mould to your teeth. Great value. Highly recommend.

Really!!! Not fit for purpose.
These are terrible, I wasted 4 attempting to get them to mould into shape. They shrink then do not mould into a useable shape. Total waste of money.

Very Pleased
I was very apprehensive buying these mouth pieces. The reviews were pretty good but there were some bad ones.I followed the instructions fully. Are they as good as my expensive dental ones, no. But they are pretty close, and at this price, I'm pretty happy with them.

DANGEROUS TO USE THESE WITH BLEACH BECAUSE YOU END UP SWALLOWING ALL OF IT
These do not mould or fit properly EVEN WITH BOILING WATER I wish I hadn't listened to the positive reviews here because they were absolutely useless, I gave the trays a go with my bleach after moulding them (baring in mind i had to go through all 8 before I managed to get one that was awfully fit) all of the peroxide leaked out and I swallowed most of it which is highly dangerous, was sick with headaches... the peroxide cost me £150 from my dentist. I wish I had never used them, they also shrink in the water so barely cover any of your teeth and I have a small mouth. Ridiculous how people get away with this stuff
