A great book to learn Hebrew while understand deeper.

Awesome book. One of a few tools I'm using to learn Hebrew. I love the direct translation under the Hebrew and the more standard translation on the side of each page.

Pages so thin you can see text in the otherwise. Unhappy about that & the English standard left to right page progression. Everything else is great. Stays open nicely like a hefty book, even in Genesis. Clear sharp print, unlike that big blue covered Interlinear you’ve probably seen around.

I have a separate New Testament Interlinear based on the 3rd edition United Bible Society Greek text and wanted a more modern edition of the Hebrew Old Testament. The Crossway book is beautiful. It is not too large and not too small as far as size and text. The print quality is excellent. The Hebrew test is well spaced with the interlinear translation arranged attractively on the page. Unlike my New Testament interlinear it does not have the Hebrew text keyed to Strong's Exhaustive Concordance Hebrew Dictionary but this not as much of a problem as I first thought because there free available resources to help me trace these Hebrew words. The Hebrew text is biblia hebraica stuttgartensia 5th edition (revised) and allows me access to a more up to date Hebrew text than was available in another interlinear I had. The English Standard Version Old Testament text makes this a real treasure for lay Bible students like me. If you can afford only one Hebrew-English Interlinear text I heartily recommend this one. The paper is bright and opaque and the binding is sewn stitched making it very strong and flexible. The only suggestion I would make to the publisher is to issue it in a cloth bound cover edition. I am not sure how the current slick glossy hardcover may hold up to continued use. But that is a minor issue compared to the wonderful quality and usefulness of this book.
