Nice taste, use it for fried gators and for my salad dressing.blends great with the vinegar and water. Hopefully it will be healthier than the other regular oils.

High quality, consistent flavor, I use for brain health not for cooking so I can't comment on that. For health purposes I have found this oil to be high quality and good flavor for my "morning shot" for brain health. No down sides, the bottle is nice and they've added a little pouring spout that keeps it from dripping.

I was reading up on brain health and walnuts were considered the most helpful so I ordered this cold-pressed walnut oil to give it a try. It tastes so good and am taking the equivalent of a tablespoon daily and am also adding it to some of my favorite salads. Packaging was secure and both glass bottles shipped beautifully. This wonderful almond oil is like California sunshine captured in a bottle. It has a subtle nutty flavor that adds to any dish or salad dressing. I love to use it in asian and mediterranean dishes. It also happens to be bottled beautifully which makes a perfect gift whether it is for the holidays, a hostess gift at a party, or for someone you want to impress with something uniquely Californian. I recently started using it for a skin moisturizer at night and it does not disappoint as long as you like smelling like a good cookie. My skin feels so supple in the morning. For an oil it is not greasy at all. My dry skin just sucks it up. I even used it to make a batch of homemade soap and the results were impressive. It might just be the most gentle soap I have ever made.

I love Vintage Farms walnut oil. It's a great source of omega-3, is cold pressed, has a great flavor, and is bottled in glass. But ... the bottle spout is thick glass, so when pouring, oil drips down the outside of the bottle (in short, a wee bit is wasted each time it's decanted). Because of the cork stopper, it is very hard to remove the first several times----and the cork stopper on my second bottle's lid detached from the plastic lid when struggling to remove it, so it was unsuable. I had to tranfer the oil to an empty maple syrup bottle (glass with plastic lid and pour spout). From now on, when I buy Vintage Farms Walnut Oil, I will transfer the oil--- as soon as I (finally) open the bottle---into empty maple syrup bottles with pour-spout lids. I sent Vintage Farms a message about the cork detaching from the lid but never heard back.... But it is really good walnut oil that I highly recommend!
