My cat loves this brand!
My cat absolutely loves ACANA dry cat food—it’s the only dry food it will eat! From the moment I introduced it, mealtime has been a breeze. It’s so satisfying to see my cat excited for its meals, knowing that I’m also giving it a healthy and high-quality option.ACANA is packed with nutritious ingredients and is free from fillers, making it a great choice for pet owners who want the best for their furry friends. My cat has been thriving on it, with a shiny coat, steady energy, and overall good health to show for it.If you’re looking for a nutritious and tasty dry food that cats actually enjoy, I can’t recommend ACANA enough. It’s a win-win for both my cat’s health and happiness!

Excellent cat Food
My Beloved Feline Son is very sensitive physically, and must have high quality food.. Acana does not disappoint. I do recommend though being sure to supplement this almost pure protein food with another more general food. They may be carnivores, but they have lived with us for millennia and now require a bit of grains.. In my boy's case we use a bit of prescription food, but there are plenty of others out there. He's a Fisherman-Cat, so he just looooooooooves Bountiful Catch.. Thank you for having good quality, and no suspicious ingredients as well as keeping it at a reasonable price.. Namaste...

Our 6 rescue kitties deserve the best! Acana cat food is excellent!!!
We have purchased Acana brand cat food, for our rescue kitties, since the brand first came into pet stores, maybe 3-4 years ago. It’s from the company that also produces Orijen, and has been in business for decades. It has a higher concentration of protein and less fillers than other cat foods. This is more expensive than your regular cat food, but we have had higher performance in our beloved fur babies since using it.Especially with rescue kitties, not always knowing their previous care, we wanted to give them an extra boost with this quality food, and we are very happy with the results. We also believe we have a very low incidence of health problems or visits to the vet for illness with this food! In the end, I believe it actually saves us money, and heartache with health issues! I believe it also helps maintain their weight better.Definitely worth the price, and the results show! We usually buy the Bountiful Catch and Wild Atlantic flavors. AND Acana has never had any recalls!!!! Very happy to see Amazon offering this awesome brand! 🥰🐈🐈⬛🐈🐈⬛🐈🐈⬛

Great for senior cats
My cat is 10 years old - indoor/outdoor and a healthy weight of 11-13 lbs. We were using the blue wilderness brand previously before I realized that was for ages 1-7 years old. I've noticed that he's done much better with the texture of this cat food. Of note, he doesn't appear to crave it or have any interest in eating it unless he's truly hungry so I'm not sure he likes it per say, but he will eat it and hasn't thrown up since we introduced it (fully, without his old food) on day 1.

Saved my cat
My female cat was itching like crazy loosing all the hair on her belly, back legs and upper tail. The vet wanted to try Prozac, it didn’t work. They put her on a prescription food that has a hydrolized protein, basically no meat in the food at all. I was not happy using a food that didn’t seem to have food in it but we did just in case it would help. Several $90 bags later there was no change. She was loosing weight and went from 10 pounds to 7. She is very tall and long and was starting to look malnourished. We decided to find a food and treat that had zero chicken. I found this brand and she loved it. Fast forward a few bags and all her hair is back and she weighs almost 8.5 pounds. I am so thankful for this food and so is she! As an added bonus all of my cats love it also.If you are reading this and experiencing the same issue tiki cat makes tuna treats with no chicken. I hope you never stop making this food!

Excellent Food
Hello! So to start off, I would like to say I am a vet tech and these reviews that are so horrible are very misleading. There is a lot of information that is missing for the whole story and the illnesses should not be assumed to be due to the food because of it. Of course it is possible (as the Instinct brand makes my cats vomit), but based on the severity of the illnesses it should be considered that something else was going on. If the food was making them that sick, why keep giving them that food?Anyway! For my three little kiddos at home, this is the perfect diet. My boy cat has horrible allergies to chicken (vomiting, explosive diarrhea, etc) and even the smallest amount will cause his allergies to flare up. I was buying them hydrolyzed protein diets and allergy diets, but admittedly they are incredibly expensive. So I took the time and did the research and settled on trying two brands- Acana and Instinct. Instinct was absolutely awful and causes all of my cats to vomit every time. They will eat anything, but they flat out refuse Instinct Limited Ingredient. When I gave them Acana bountiful catch, they absolutely thrived. No vomiting, happy cats. I don’t enjoy the smell of the food, but I will take it happily over them vomiting and having diarrhea. As for grain free diets, there is much controversy surrounding them. However, with cats they don’t really need grains in their diets the way that dogs do. Definitely get grain diets for your dogs!! But you don’t have to for your cats. This brand specifically follows AAFCO for daily nutrient intake for their pets and it does bring credibility to their claims.

Great quality, but my cats aren’t the biggest fan.
This has been an underwhelming transition to this food from other brands we’ve tried. One cat has horrible skin allergies so we’ve been on the hunt for a great quality item. It meets my nutritional standards, it doesn’t smell, but my cats are not excited about meal time with this food. My cats would run to the bowl for Racheal Ray, before I knew about quality ingredients, and for this food to peak their interest I have to add wet food. I won’t buy again, personally. Would still recommend to friends to try simply because the quality and ingredient list.
