Decent lock
Unfortunately my lock has been struggling to open and close seamlessly. I think the internal mechanisms are starting to degrade and so I am having to replace it after 15 months.Update: adding wd40 to the lock has returned this product to functionality and so I am happy with the lock

Not a suitable outdoor lock
I bought these for my back gate and shed. Having keyed alike padlocks for this purpose made a lot of sense.Unfortunately these locks became rusted and unusable after about two months. The tumbler became corroded and hard to turn. The shackle would fail to close. They are clearly not suitable as outdoor locks. I’ve now purchased some Abus Discus locks instead which are entirely made of stainless steel and after a month they seem to be holding up much better. They are more expensive but the quality is far higher for outdoor use.

Possibly great; possibly not
I have bought two of these, both used on outdoor gates. The first (two and a half years later) is still working perfectly and I am very pleased with it. The second (after only a year and a half) often takes several attempts to unlock - the key turns but the padlock refuses to open. A shame, because the first lock is great.
