Very easy to install, and worked great for me. The instructions were really easy to follow, and pretty funny to read. The templates worked great, and were very convenient. The only negative thing I can say is the power cord that comes with it, that supply’s power from your outlet to the lower plug, sticks out pretty far. I wish it had a 90* plug or more low profile. Maybe I can find one to use in place of it, but I can’t slide my entertainment center all the way back up against the wall.

I really the ease of installation, quality, and appearance of the electrical outlet. It looks great, has a smart design, and comes with a drywall saw. I appreciate that it hides cables neatly. I think it's well worth the cost and the kit is great.

I've done several outlet extensions up walls to mount tv's and hide the plugs. Got this on sale and tried it out. Some advantages: You don't need to work on live electricity, Recessed plugs, space for additional cables. I initially wasn't impressed that they included a saw, but this blade was perfect for the project. Instructions are good. One improvement I would like to see is for the plug at the bottom plate be redesigned to a two piece plug. In my case, the wall was insulated and there were electric lines that I needed to go around inside the wall. The plug end is so big that it was difficult to get it through the insulation and wires. I ran a Optical cable and 2 CAT 8 cables. This is about all that will fit through the opening. You could buy the outlets and run them to existing outlets cheaper, but this is a handy way to get the job done.

Finally installed this in my bedroom and it was very strait forward except the location I wanted to install this was directly behind my tv mount so I had to use some shims (extra washers) on the tv mount to space it out enough as to not pinch the main outlet cable run fixture. It worked great. I really like how the outlet is offset at an angle so you can get the tv much more flush to the wall as the cord plug extrusion is eliminated with this feature. The installation was pretty easy with the included drywall saw. I would say anyone who is handy could handle this.

Used to install a flush mount tv (HiSense Canvas). Mine seemed to be a return box and was missing screws, so I wish they would check before resending, but anyway, it had the core components. Basically, you cut two holes in drywall. There is a template for the bigger box that goes up top. There is no template for the one near the outlet/ground - they tell you to "trace" it but there are little flanges and so its hard to trace and you have to sneak up on the cut, but anyone with even a small bit of ability can do it.The boxes attach with modified toggle bolts that catch on the back of the drywall - pretty slick system/invention. No need to be on or near a stud - in fact, the top box protrudes about an inchto the left, so you cannot be near a stud on that side.The internal cabling provided is rated at 15amps, and is beefy.Good kit, easy to use and install, very necessary for true flush mounted hidden products like these frame tvs
