Hi everyone. i'm having trouble to find my new 1t ssd sabrent, i've done just like most of the folks here. any thoughts? is it the adapter?

Hi - I bought an external usb case and imaged over my old drive before I installed into my MacBook pro 2016. All went fine and it booted ok. I used carbon copy cloner to clone my drive.

Does this support double sided 2242 nvme drives or only single sided? Do you have a list of compatible drives that have been tested please?

Sabrent rocket nano nvme is DOUBLE-SIDED and it fits perfectly. There is like 0.7 mm gap between ssd and adapter. On macrumors there is an article about "Upgrading 2013/2014 Macbook Pro SSD to M.2 NVMe" and it contains a list of compatible SSDs but all of them are 2280 types. You COULD fit them but it will only hold with electrical tape... 2242 SSDs are rare, there are a lot of them that are not that fast, so Sabrent is the best for its GB per $. To answer you question: Unfortunately, I do NOT have a list of compatible SSDs. I am not sponsored by Sabrent in any way. Just a tech enthusiast whose ssd died (Check out my review on SSD!).
