I tend to avoid purchasing clothing and footwear online since choosing the right size can be a gamble. I always have to try stuff on because sizes vary depending on the brand and style. Took a chance with this rain suit and am relieved that it fits decently enough to keep. Having to return things can be disappointing and aggravating, especially online purchases, although Amazon is excellent in terms of customer service and support.Normally I'm a men's M-L for upper body wear with a waist size of 32-34 and a length of 28-30 for lower body wear. I decided on this large rain suit set after reading several reviews and thoroughly studying the sizing chart. Had i went with medium the elastic wrist and waist bands would have been way too tight, especially considering the large size elastic bands are very snug and I'm skin & bones. If I'd of chosen the XL set the sleeves and pants would've been way too long, because this large size is a bit long for me in the sleeves and legs, yet the shoulders and waist are roomy enough for work and recreational purposes. That being said, if your weight is around 140lbs and your height is about 5'7" the large suit would probably be the best overall fit.They arrived today I've only tried them on for the sake of sizing and returns, so i can't say how well they'll perform in the rain. However, this suit seems much more durable than the ones that are sold locally at department/ hardware stores, and the design appears to be solid enough to keep a person dry in the majority of circumstances. The materials it's made of are great quality and should last for many years. Definitely an outstanding value and worthwhile investment for those rainy days. I'd highly recommend this Amazon Seller and their product for sure. Shipping was speedy and arrived two days early!!Update: Finally had the chance to test this rain suit and it passed with flying colors. Worth it's weight in gold and then some! Left work at 8pm and had to ride a bicycle fifteen+ minutes in a driving rain with 30mph winds on a busy highway. Passing vehicles were spraying water on me from puddles and gusts of wind were causing rain to hit me from multiple directions. Made it to the bus stop with time to spare and stood in a downpour for half an hour. Then i biked for another fifteen+ minutes in the wind driven rainstorm after a ten mile bus ride. When the waking nightmare was over i took off this amazing rain suit and my clothes were dry! Adventures like this make me happy because i love a great challenge, although i probably wouldn't have been such a happy camper without this wonderfully effective rain suit. I'd of been completely soaked to the bone and freezing cold without it, yet was warm and dry. After shaking the rain off of this water repellent material it was barely even wet, and dried before the night was over in front of a small space heater. Very impressed by the wind and rain resistance of this high quality suit.

Best rainsuit ever!!Worn this in several downpours now and zero leaks.The visor is a great idea but doesn't work. When you attach the visor (velcro) to the inside of the hood the hood pushes forward and you can't see.The biggest problem I have is the pockets. There's only 2 of them on the jacket..and they're small. They are 100% waterproof even in hard rain but sucks there's only 2 because there are NO pockets on the pants. Pants are secured to your waist by stretch band. Not bad but might be something to consider.For it's function and visibility this cannot possibly be beat. Not only good price BUT it's made of Polyester NOT PVC and that is pretty rare. Nice!100% recommend.

Rain suit works well which is what I hoped. Pros I stayed dry. The elastic cuffs are great. Had a couple pockets for things. Felt durable Cons The visor face shield thing is not of the same quality. I actually threw it away first day I had it. It is rather warm wearing the rain suit. I’m a skinny guy bought this in medium and I was sweating wearing it. If it was a little more breathable I would give 5 stars

Ladies... Unless you are a box shape; without hips, no waist line. Buyer beware. The jacket gives room for the girls, but the sleeves are very long. I could adjust for that. The pants were not flexiable at all. They actually felt like a different size then the jacket. I think its just cause im shaped like a women. Ive never brought clothes that were made for a guy. I really didnt think that outter wear would be that great of a difference. Wrong. Too bad this set didnt work for me. The material seemed durable and would last thru this rain season and the next. I returned the item without issue. Smooth transaction & my money refunded promptly. I wear size 16, ordered a large. Jacket too big, pants to small. 5 star cause of the quailty to price ratio

I didn't end up wearing the pants but the jacket worked really well. I got the small size and am 5'7" and 130lbs and the jacket maybe looked a little bit big (I would usually wear a medium in women's size). Happy enough with it since I could layer clothing under it. The pants fit nicely. It was used for 3 weeks daily wear in rainy Ireland including on an archaeological dig where it stood up to some serious abuse. Elastic and velcro at cuffs and net lining on inside did not get too hot but kept me dry. The only thing I would say is the hood looked cheap when out since it had no lining but otherwise it was great and I will continue to use it.

I spent many hours researching rain suits and this one was great in every category. I was extremely happy when I tried it on!! I am a large and bought the large. Fits great over my closes. Pants don’t have pockets but has 2 nice ones in Jacket. Straight up pocket so stuff doesn’t fall out. Also has a snap for closure. Would buy again. 👍🏼

This product is awesome. I bought it a size too big so that I could wear my winter coat under it for when there is freezing rain during the winter. I ride a bike to work year round and quickly found out that this is not only water proof but it's wind tight as well. I ended up using it as a winter coat with just a hoodie or pullover underneath. Used the pants as snowpants to keep my legs warm and dry from dirty slush and water splashes. You will need to wear water proof foot wear as well because the water will run down your body and legs and into your shoes. You will however, arrive at your destination completely dry. I do wonder how hot this is going to be in the summer when it's pouring rain if I can wear it as winter wear. But that remains to be seen. Would 100% buy again.

Whenever traveling on the move outdoor, whether motorcycle or bicycle, it is safety always and a rain jacket must be carry alongside. Lastly, it's a full kit with upper vest and lower pants.

Size: L could be a little large for me. Sadly, most of the sizes were unavailable! Color wise, orange is a good vision for safety.
