HEAVY METAL PRESS
The RCBS Rebel is about as heavy duty of a press that you can get. When it arrived the first thing I did was take the linkage apart and the ram out of the frame, cleaned all the white lithium grease and oil and gunk from the parts and put a fresh coat of high pressure grease on all the contacting surfaces. Reinstalled the ram with 1 1/2 shots of grease through the zerk, the press was smooth as butter. The ram has VERY little play in the frame (haven't taken a measurement but if I had to guess around .0025"). I personally like that there is no on press priming system, as I don't use one. The linkage is very similar to the Rockchucker other that the "arms" being machined steel rather than cast iron. One thing that stood out to me however is how much side to side play is in the linkage itself. It's not a huge issue nor does it affect the operation of the press but it would be nice for rcbs to include the same wave washers as they do on the RC to take up tolerance between the arms and the press frame. (If it starts to make me lose sleep then I will install them myself.) Other than that one gripe, it is a great press and I firmly believe I will get years and years of service from it.......That is if I can find more components in the future.

Rebel Press
Quality, quality, quality!!!My previous press was crap. Not I reload to specs deserving of precision shooting.There is no priming tool, not a problem. And the spent primers fall through the bottom of the ram so a trash can directly below catches everything. Fantasy press. Thank you RCBS.

It's from RCBS, what would you expect.
It's a rock crusher under a different name. Nice press. Works very well and will out live me. I love this press.

Built sturdy
The press has a good feel, sturdy and heavy. I wish the primers dropped into a tray but better than the original design.

Bought to resize 30-06 to 8mm Mauser
In one word “Tank” this is the cheapest place I could find it. Doesn’t seem to be a factory second or anything. Needed a strong press and this is it. I’ve been using this to resize 30-06 down to 8 mm Mauser and 76.2 x 39 down to 6.5 Grendel. Works awesome. My first step away from Lee, I’m loving it!

Awesome press for $140 on sale!
Smooth as butter and tons of leverage. Loads some of the straightest ammo in 35 years of handloading. Brass quality and prep are number one but this press in no way takes away from that.Spent primer discharge at the bottom of the ram into a small trash can is an improvement over my Rock Chucker, no more mess on the top side.

It’s good but
When I got it it was stiff and rough to work. I disassembled it, deburred it and greased it. That helped very much. However I saw several small voids in the casting where the ram rides. And the slop in the linkage to press is more than I like. Ram to press fit is very good. There are four dimples on the underside that were drilled after paint. This chipped the paint around the holes. They should have don’t this before paint. Mostly nit picks but I did expect more from the USA casting and higher price point than the Supreme.
