Good boost for 'the gripping hand'
Very pleased with this product.I bought a Kindle Oasis and found that it was difficult to comfortably hold because the back was smooth, slick aluminum so searched for a solution. I was upgrading from a Kindle Paperwhite which has a book type cover which although nicely functional adds weight and bulk. I wanted to keep the new Oasis lighter so added a screen protector to prevent scratches on the plastic screen and decided to try to find something to THINLY add grip to the back. After looking at a variety of products / options I picked the 'Grip Sticker's and as usual the Amazon purchase and shipping was quick and easy. Note that I also bought a sheet of grip material used on pistol grips and I'm sure it works for that but it has a 'sharp' sandpaper feel that I didn't think would feel good on the back of a tablet or Kindle so I didn't use it.I used three strips across the back of the Oasis (cleaned the back first with alcohol to remove any oils that would cause the adhesive to fail) with equal gaps between and it works very well to stabilize the device and give a secure feel (so you can hold it at increased angles where you couldn't before) and the strips totally achive their purpose without causing discomfort. After a week of use, I decided that if I ever do it again I'd use four strips and narrower gaps between for an even better grip.

This excellent product effectively solved my problem.
My 87 year old hands (the rest of me is 87 too) have a difficult time handling my MacBook Air. It's heavy and slick. Handling it always made me nervous. No longer. I use my laptop at least three hours a day, but I've only been using it with the gripper attached for about a month, so, though I love it, I can't say for the products durability, but I get the impression it'll hang tough till my MacBook is obsolete.Attaching the gripper can be problematic. They are really sticky when you've removed the backing, and once stuck there's no unsticking them. This is what I did, and when I'd finished it looked like I knew what I was doing. ... First, I reviewed how and where I handled my laptop, how and where I placed my fingers on it, and exactly where I wanted the grippers. For the look of it and to fit my hands, I wanted the six inch long grippers to be exactly parallel with, and 1 and a 1/2 inch inside all four edges on the bottom side of my laptop.I suppose you could draw lines with a straight edge and pencil and wash it off later. But I had some 3/4 inch masking tape that I could easily peel off when I'd finished. I put two rows of the 3/4 inch masking tape around the four outside edges, one inside the other, leaving the 1 and 1/2 inch alignment border that I wanted. Then I marked the center of all four sides with a simple easily seen dot just inside the edge of the masking tape. And now comes the tricky part: If you're handy, very carefully, in slow motion, peel the the backing from the six inch gripper you've selected. Carefully grip the gripper at each end (firmly, but don't stretch it) hover it a half inch above where you've marked the center of the masking tape and slowly lower it in place making sure you keep it parallel and a tiny bit inside of the masking tape. Then smooth it down firmly and peel off the tape. You might like to practice the procedure before peeling the backing ... a dry run if you please. You won't be sorry. Good luck. And if you're not handy—turn the job over to somebody who is. I'm only reasonably handy, but using the procedure I've outlined, I had no problem at all. This is an excellent and functional product.

Doesn't last
I bought these to put on my work laptop. It is slippery and they do help grip it better. I carry, open and close the laptop all day. After about a week they began to peel off from its backing. Leaving a plastic strip. They are almost all peeled off now. Very disappointed.

Good adhesion for a while, and good grip
Exactly what I wanted to aid in picking up my MacBook Air. The silicone has just the right grip. I wish the package had more stickers in it, so you might want to buy two to put stickers on all four edges and both sides.Update after five months of use: The stickers have two layers - there's a thin plastic tape that sticks to the laptop, and a thicker nubbly silicone layer that sticks to the tape. The tape adheres well to the laptop, but the silicone started peeling from the tape after a couple of months. Since the failing adhesive that should stick the silicone to the tape is solely the manufacturer's responsibility, I'm dropping a couple of stars.

Adhesion pad problems but Grippy is gold!
Do you love to make things grippy? This is for you. Better than other products in the same market. The adhesive though leaves a bit to be desired. I used these on my very smooth Dell Vostoro 7500 and it helped so much. I used the smaller strips on random things I own, and they don't work so well. If you run your hands across the grip pads quickly, you do run the risk of separating the pad from the adhesive. Super sad about that, but if you know and be mindful, it will work.4/5 - Better than putting on suction cup gloves that I bought on Wish.

Perfct In Every Way
I needed a slip-resistant substance to keep my new MacBookAir from slipping when I slip it into a case or just want to move it. (The new hard case, although supposedly "rubberized," is as slippery as a non-rubberized surface, being only a matte finish.)These strips are almost invisible, showing the color of your computer case or the shell case to come through 99%.I placed a group of them on top and bottom ( bottom and left and right and spine end (fattest) for lifting and carrying with my left-hand fingers only.) It works perfectly and eliminates the anxiety for those few moments of dropping an expensive computer on the floor.)Very good devices for a perfect "grip" solution.

Has made my MacBook sturdy
These non slip strips has saved my laptop. Once I adhered these to the bottom of my MacBook, the laptop no longer slips and slids because of the slickness of its metal body, and feels secure on any surface. This was a great buy.
