The Measure of Man and Woman: Human Factors in Design

This book came quickly and was even packaged in shrink-wrap. It is in great condition and I can't wait to use it in all of my interior design courses.

Some times we miss the obvious when designing for a person, a family or a community. This book informs us of the physical nature of people.

An incredible book - detailed at every level. Many who have visited me and glanced at this book have been blown away at the meticulous work encompassed in this book.

The book is great. Information is presented clearly and is easy to find.HOWEVER, I had really expected more from the CD. It DOES NOT CONTAIN DEMO SOFTWARE for a version of ERGOFORMS, it contains a couple of cad files generated by that program. Unfortunately, they are not particularly useful ones. (VELLUM, DXF and DWG files for a 7 year old child, 1% male, and 1% female.) As another reviewer points out, the CD is basically an advertisement.If you want to buy this book for the info in the book, that's fine; it's a great book. If you are buying it because you think that there is something useful on the CD, I would suggest that you are making a mistake.

4/5 because it was not what I was expecting. Its full of facts and figures for engineers to calculate movement and size/positioning of people. Thought it would have more contextual information to learn from. It does a great job explaining what it does, but not what I wanted.

I used this as a text book in design school and continue to reference it as a professional designer.
