Arrived all alive!
The media could not be loaded. My little family and I are in love with them. They all came alive and hungry. I spread them in my little garden. Because I have the little bugs that are eating my plants. And the larvae has been eating them because I haven’t seen the little bugs. It was easy to use. The quality was good, and it’s effectiveness too. It functions well too. Like they immediately explored the garden and loved it!

Received Dead
I I work in a school district, and for many years, we’ve used caterpillar larvae for educational activities. This year, in addition to the caterpillars I decided to try ladybugs with my students, even paying for them out of my own pocket in hopes of providing a new learning experience.I received the ladybugs and followed the instructions carefully, including placing them in the ladybug house with water in the small sponge provided. Unfortunately, nothing happened—there was no movement, no growth, and they appeared to be dead upon arrival. Amazon sent me a second batch, but the same thing occurred. The ladybugs never showed any signs of life or movement. When I attempted to get a refund, I was told to send the insects back. However, I didn’t have the original container they came in, and honestly, how does one send back dead, speckled tiny insects? It felt very odd. At one point, I was told they would just issue a refund, but despite several follow-ups, I never received it.Overall, I am very disappointed with this product and do not recommend it.

They're alive! 13 larvae!
It took 2 tries, my first shipment never arrived. My second order had 13 little buggies in it! I released them into my aphid nest of a honeysuckle shrub, they seemed to hurry out, most found a hiding spot right away for a nap.. then came out a bit later.I bought ladybugs in the past.. sometimes they stay, sometimes they don't, no matter how many aphids there are to eat... I have the most success when they stick around long enough to make eggs, because the larvae can't fly.. I thought maybe this year I'll just start with larvae? So far so good.

Not worth the purchase
Some arrived alive maybe three. The rest all dead upon arrival. After 4 days I seen no movement whatsoever. Not worth the purchase.

They send it in an envelope-bad idea
Luckily my bugs came in alive, however they were all strewn about the envelope that the tube was in because the top popped off. Most seemed alive and immediately drank the water in the habitat I also bought. No food came with them for after being put in the habitat like the instructions indicated to use, though. Instructions say not to dump the bugs but we had no other choice being that the tube busted open in shipping. Fingers crossed because this is the second year I've gotten them for my niece's birthday and it has REALLY helped her not be afraid of all bugs all the time. Easy enough for a 6 year old to use. At 7 she was super excited. Ladybug everything is what she wants now lol

Worth the money just to watch
Bought 2 of these at different times. First produced only larva. The 2nd, I got 2 ladybugs. I don't think it had anything to do with quality. I'm just not good at growing ladybugs. Very educational for children to watch the metamorphosis. Yep, I would try it again.

Fun Insect Observation
Larvae arrived in a timely manner (all alive) and they made it to become adult ladybugs within a couple weeks.
