Excellent in depth book. A must for any horsebreeder.

I found some of the advice in this book dated for example worming of every single horse in the yard - at all times.(testing now being more common) Also she talks about orphan foals or foals that are weaned early are in better health - she does not mention the mental welfare of the foal. Things have moved on since this book was written.
