Works perfectly. Insert the handle, tighten the screw and it’s all set to go. I cut 22 mil lvp and it cut like butter with nice smooth cuts. I only did cross cuts, didn’t try rip cuts or angle cuts. It comes with a bar to use for preset angled cuts. Also Comes with a sharpening stone for longer term use. Definitely would recommend this and it’s one of the cheaper ones.

Makes the flooring easier, no getting up and down

After installing quite a bit of LVP flooring, I decided I needed to try one of these cutters to save the time of walking in and out of the house to cut. I specifically wanted this one, as I thought the U and L cuts would be a great way to speed up the process around doorways. This saw easily cut the flooring and does save time, but it did not perform well for the U and L cuts because you have to basically unscrew and remove the blade in order to get just a partial cut. The straight cuts and the angle cuts were its best feature and it performs those well. I did find it hard to see the blade, know exactly where the cut was going to be and getting the attached side guides to stay screwed in one place was a big pain. Yes, I would use it again and yes it will save you time.

UPDATE!!!! I have now had this product for 2 weeks, and used it several times, I also replaced some existing vinyl plank flooring pieces and was able to use this and cut perfect straight edges going the long way.. love this machine, yes, the larger one would have been a little better, but for what I need and needed, this worked a lot better than I thought it would !I was having a hard time cutting straight lines cutting the long ways on luxury vinyl planks.. I should probably get the 13" one but the 8" one works just as well. I only have used in on 4 or 5 boards.. but so far so good. I did a few practice cuts on scrap boards before on the boards I was using. but so far impressed!

Very accurate vinyl tile cutter. Used it putting new tile down in the entire house. Sharp blade when we purchased it and 1200 SQ feet later still as sharp as day one. Would recommend this for the tile stallers

This floor cutter sucks. It doesn't fit vinyl planks with backing. It doesn't have enough strength to actually cut the flooring either.

The hubby had a project for our laminate floors and this helped him make it easier. smooth cut
