Quality bag from a top-tier company
Report from a heavy user: I’ve owned this backpack for two years, and have used it in cars, trains, and planes, and carried while on foot and while biking.Pros:Sleek and sits close to the bodyGreat weight management for walking and ridingIdeal trade off between size and spaceFits easily under airline seatsGrown-up styleHidden zipper pockets (strap and inside the luggage pass through panel) are perfect for subtle — even secret — storageHigh-quality materials throughout. A big step up from their sub-$100 bags.Lifetime warranty and responsive customer serviceCons:No dedicated pocket for glasses, a nice feature of the larger Versa bagTop load design makes for a deep reach sometimesRecommendation: while this bag won’t replace your gym bag or carry on, it’s ideal for daily carry to work and a perfect personal item on the plane. Quality is on par with Tumi and Briggs and Riley, as is the warranty. My bag suffered a ripped interior pocket after 2 years: I engaged customer service, and they sent me a replacement bag. I think the Studio Slim is an outstanding value from a company who deserves your business.

It is a nice design, lots of pockets and nice features
Admittedly am a little OCD when it comes to backpacks for work. I travel a lot and used an Outdoor Products PowerPack 3 from REI. It is a nice design, lots of pockets and nice features, but low quality to hit a low price price point (about 6 zipper pulls snapped off) and easy to snag and tear the material. Also looks like the proverbial turtle on your back, not very professional. I then went on the hunt looking and sometimes buying and returning great quality bags from Timbuk2, Eagle Creek, Tumi, eBags and Osprey. They each had shortcomings for me in terms of organization, weight, too many unnecessary waist belts and sternum straps, etc. I got the Everki Studio slim and so far it has been great. Slim and compact but holds and organizes everything I need. The rear hidden and strap stash pockets are nice touches. The overall appearance and feel is professional, very high quality and lighter than what I had been using. Also, frankly because it is trimmer all around, helped me jettison "nice to have" but rarely used stuff I was carrying around. I have used it on several multi day trips and so far so good. The trolly sleeve is a plus but easier for me just to carry on my back through the airport. The only small misgiving is that I have been used to an outside large stash pocket for a light jacket or fleece, but again, not very professional and can live without it. All in all, happy with the outcome and would look at other items from Everki.

Really awesome! Like it more than my old Tumi!
OK, for some reason the pictures made this bag look square and boxy in the online description. A year ago, my Tumi backpack/messenger bag was stolen. In replacement I purchased an Everki bag but it was WAY too big for me. I finally decided to get a smaller bag. For some reason I kept looking and looking and looking. While doing so I kept coming across this bag, but the boxy look in the online description turned me off so I passed and ordered a different bag. Well I hated that other one, sent it back and ordered this one. It's AWESOME! It is not roomy, but it has plenty of room: I put in my laptop, my ipad, my note book, two headsets (I don't use those big noise canceling ones), a calculator, charging cables, business cards, and the like. There is a little extra room for a hat and gloves if you need. I love the front pocket for keeping my work badge and keys - would also bee good for slipping your phone or other small tickets. The back panel hidden zipper is cool. This is a great bag and it is super light and compact. I've even had compliments on it. HIGHLY recommend if you are looking for a back pack that gets it done, looks professional, travels well and is not a suitcase with straps :)

Great backpack. Water bottle pockets too small.
TL;DR = Great backpack. Very comfortable. Water bottle pockets are too small and too tight. I would buy it again.Pros:- This backpack sits higher than previously owned backpacks and stops just above my butt. No matter how aggressively I walk it doesn't bounce off my backside. Overall very comfortable.- The main compartment is surprisingly large for a slim backpack. Comfortably fits laptop and a Spring jacket, with room to spare.- The orange inner lining makes it easy to find things.Cons:- Water bottle holders are only good for small bottles. If you have a medium-to-large water bottle you'll need to carry it by hand or store it in the main compartment (near your laptop). I like to commute with a water bottle and this was the biggest adjustment for me. Ideally the side pockets would be larger or adjustable.- Other reviewers have complained about the built-in, corner laptop padding - it is true - the corners clearly feel less protected. Ideally the backpack would have slightly better bottom/corner padding. It's not horrible and I still use this backpack as my daily commute bag with no additional padding/sleeve.- This will sound like an odd "con" but the mid-sized pocket (with pen holders) is as tall as the backpack. It's non-obvious and a few times I've temporarily lost my sunglasses because you can't open it to see to the bottom... you just have to reach down there.
