PTA Examination Review and Study Guide Paperback – January 1, 2019

I had been using the Scorebuilders book for a few months and felt like I was drowning in information. I got this book a few weeks before my board exam and switched 100% to this only when studying. A WORLD OF DIFFERENCE!! A large portion of board exam questions come from the O’Sullivan text, it just made sense to study this material. The study guide covered topics in about two paragraphs that took several pages to discuss and other study materials. I would highly recommend to anyone wanting to pass their boards on the first attempt. I’m glad I made the switch and I’m glad to say that I also passed my boards on my first attempt.

The book is severely creased in the front, back and throughout the pages of the book. I would like a replacement of the book in new condition.Update: I returned this one and bought a new one to give it a second chance and book came in great condition! Thanks!

Arrived in a timely manner! This is so much easier to read and follow than the Scorebuilders PTA EXAM book! It's straight to the point and is not overwhelming. I'm very glad I purchased this book!

Text is full of condensed information that should be relevant to the exam but the way it is organized shows that the publishers skimped on the editorial review--bullet point sub-headings often don't match up so it feels like ideas are inconsistent, mismatching bullets (a, b, c then throws in a 4, for ex), etc.I don't regret the purchase but my brain requires more effort than it should to organize the ideas for a $130 professional textbook.

This is just awful!! Disorganized information and the practice tests are a nightmare!! Do yourself a favor and go with something else.
