Works well
Nice air pump. Not to noisy when all connected up. You may need to use a small hose clamp to hold the rubber outlet tube on the unit. When it warms up the tube sometimes slides off and it gets loud

Works great
The media could not be loaded. It's been running 24 7 for over a month. Has a connector with 6 mini ball valves. Comes with decent hose and it's not loud. It has a humming sound but it's sitting on a bucket lid now so when it's mounted to my bucket when I'm finished it should be a hair less noisy. Some is coming from vibration but has holes for mounting and the legs are rubber to help with vibration. No complaints with me. Perfect price for what you get.

VERY loud, but also very powerful air pump; worth the trade-off to me
The media could not be loaded. NGL, this thing is LOUD. If it wasn't for the aquarium stand that I built having such thick sides and doors, I'd have returned it. In the video, the hum at beginning is with the door closed, you can hear me open it part way in. The jump in volume is with the pump still being in the bottom, in the back of the stand, behind all the ferts and food on that shelf. Even with the 1/4" plywood cased stand, it's still audible, albeit not over conversation or tv, even at low volume. This is not something you wanna have on an open air stand in a room you're in regularly. That aside, it CRANKS. I'm putting all output into a single bubble wall. It's marvelous. This is the best output I've seen from an airpump at this price. It comes with a huge splitter to run like 8 tanks, and I think it absolutely could. I use a bubble wall to provide additional circulation in my heavily planted 75 gallon, since an fx6 doesn't really cut it. This pump has it going really, really well.I can't speak for service life, I've only had it for a few days, but if you can contain or tolerate the noise (or if it's going somewhere that noiae isn't an issue), it's a powerful little pump.

Did not receive all the parts needed to operate the pump.
In fairness I have not been able to try this product. It did not come with the connecting tubing and has no information on what size tubing is needed to connect the multi valve unit to the motor. So for now it is unusable which leaves me to give 1star.I was able to connect a tube from work and then later found the missing tube. Product works great!

Good for one airstone
First of all be sure to hook up air hose and dip the airstone in water and start the pump. If you try the pump without any hose connection, it will be very noisy and you will want to return it.Also everyone is saying it is moving a lot of air. I think it is good for a single airstone, if you have multiple airstones connected then there are other dynamics involved, as simple as air will escape through the easiest stone and the other stones will look like not working. It is well built and has been running near my pond non-stop for two months. It does get quite warm, so you are blowing warm air into the aquarium.

Weak components cause already loud noise to become even louder.
I picked this up for my DWC hydro grow. The air flow is powerful for a 17gal tank (lots of bubbles!!).. but the NOISE! I have this pump inside my tent right now hanging from a strap to avoid vibration. Much like any air pump, noise is to be expected... but this was a bit much even fresh out of the package. It also gives off a lot of heat aka hot air bubbles and raised water temps so no good there..I made a few adjustments the other night that seemed to work in lowering the noise and vibration. I added a longer hose leading to the 6 line manifold so the air would have some time to cool before entering water.. I also added a hosing to the pumps intake valve (right on the back of it) and extended that hose outside the tent to intake cooler air. This seemed to do the trick for all of about 48 hrs.. now the pump sounds like theres a slight rattle or metal on metal causing yet another annoying high-pitched noise to the already annoying hum/vibration sound it gives off..I cannot rule this pump out in terms of its power.. if in an outdoor setting where the pump is free to be as noisy as it wants, this would be perfect because like i said... THE BUBBLES!!!Just keep it cool! Hot components equal hot air and raised water temps which is NO GOOD for plant roots. To sum everything up...Its noisy.. vibrates a lot.. and the components seem a bit cheaper which may require me to reverse engineer it a bit and see if i can come up with an internal fix. Until then, NEXT PUMP PLEASE!

Don't bother
**Update** I have tried everything to help the unit run cooler and quieter. It just isn't working. It runs so hot and that makes the air coming out hot. I can't imagine an instance where this would be a good air pump. Maybe in a room kept at like 50? I have no clue. I can't use this at all with my tank. For that, I'm glad it was only 30 bucks. At least I didn't waste double that or triple that.I was pretty pumped for this to arrive. I read all the reviews and they all seemed pretty good. It arrived yesterday. I plugged it in and got it all setup. The noise level was INSANE. After 1 night of running the unit was insanely hot and the hose with the control valves came off. I reconnected the hose and 5 min later it was sliding off again. This wouldn't be a problem if the unit didn't run so hot. I could use some plumbers tape to attach the hose to the output. I worry by doing so it may overheat more. One reviewer suggested attaching a hose to the input to dampen the noise. I tried it this morning and it worked. Except the unit was already running hot and I'm afraid it may make it run even hotter. I do love that it came with a 6 output control valve. That's really handy to have. I'm going to attempt some things to see if I can get the unit to cool down before considering it a total wash. If the unit didn't run so hot and wasn't so loud I'd total give this 5 stars. I took away a star for each of those plus another because until I can figure out how to keep the unit cool I can't fix the noise level or the hose popping off the output. I will edit this if I'm able to find a way to cool the unit down and resolve the hose issue.
