the ability to adjust various weights within one main weight and not have multiple weights taking up space in a small apartment is super convenient; great to have when unable to go to the gym

Review of 24lb set:First off someone made a review that said their dumbbells only weighed 21lb. I think they forgot the last weight in the box or it was missing one, both of mine came in at 23.9lb.Cons: Plastic piece for weight selection. Works fine but a little worrisome if it were to break. Some movement of the weights in use/rattling. Not a big deal I think it comes with the territory with these kinds of dumbbells but something to note.Pros: 3-24lbs in 3lb increments. This is great, much better than having to go up 5lb each time. The weight selection is quick and easy and rather enjoyable. While the weights rattle a bit in use they are secure and work fine. In fact whenever you have them in a pressing motion they are extra secured, meaning they would not fall off even without the pin (of course not recommended).They are comfortable to grip and use. You may touch your forearm to the crossmember at times during certain movements (like wrist curls) but for the most part they work just like regular dumbbells. I have IronMaster dumbbells and these are a great addition for lighter weights. Also the weights are color coded to make it even easier/faster to change weights.

Might need heavier eventually but perfect for now.

I really wanted and tried hard to like these.Pros: looks were a plus , weights were brightly color coded.Cons: the rectangular shape would take some getting used toThe method of switching weights although looked fairly simple, but since the weights have to be at floor level it proved too easy to misalign the tabs and i was fearful of the weights falling out mid curl.I would keep it but it was not suited for my wife. so for this I am assessing it 4 stars

Looked at many other versions of this type of dumbbell but all are so expensive. This comes with plastic clips to adjust the weights, which are held tightly and don't move around when you use them. They're not huge and easy to store, a good purchase

I had this set for 10 years and they worked perfectly. I used them for all my workouts (P90X, 80 Day Obsession, Insanity, etc) and I left them behind when we relocated. Biggest regret.I tried using my resistance bands and decided I had to have these again.I love how great they are for small spaces. You get 8 sets of weights in one small space. They range from 3# to 24# in 3# increments. Simply move the selector to the weight you want & lift.They work best on a flat surface.If you have a small space or hate having several weights all over the place, these are your best option.

been working on these for a year, they're great quality and look/feel as they did on first day

I usually do resistance exercises using BFR (blood flow restriction). As such one doesn't need extra heavy weights, These work best since they also have a more gradual load increase at 3 lbs increments.
