Family Brand Red Li Hing Mui Dried Preserved Plums 8 Ounce Bag

These are nice and plump, large sized dried plums. Not all hard and dried out like some others.Great flavor, they are saltier than some of the sweet kinds but I love them.The company says put them in a lemon but I like to put them in an orange to really bring out that sweet/salty flavor.

Please don't buy this plum. It's too salty to eat. the item is not returnable, I must throw it to dumpster.Very disappointed.

Good enough that you will always want them to be in reach. Not a CHEW - drop one on your tongue and all traces of "dry-mouth" are gone. You will eventually reach the state where just remembering the tase helps if one isn't handy. Red (or White) Li Hing Mui is an Island favorite you can take anywhere.

The perfect dried preserved plums is supposed to have a perfect balance of sweet, sour and saltiness like the ones I had when I was a kid. I was hoping that this will be the one I'd been waiting for so I didn't mind paying over $16 dollar (not including shipping charge)for only 8 oz. bag. Unfortunately, these was made way too salty to the point of unedible, which is disappointing especially after I waited a whole week for it to arrive.

These don't taste the way they did when I was a kid. They are saltier than they used to be.

I grew up these, cant find good ones where i live now. They are salty but good ! i know that when i run out from stocking up when i go home i can always order these. They are nice size and very meaty. will order again

Being from Hawaii, you know how things should taste, and this...is not it. I ran out of the bag my mom sent me from Hawaii and attempted this replacement. Same brand (Family). This is not it. Will spend the extra $$ to either order from a store in Hawaii that ships or have my family send me some.
