Saw - 8 Film Collection [Blu-ray]

Great films good to see them again but the last film jigsaw was unable to play on my dvds it's area code yet all other in the box set were ok so will have to buy jigsaw film seperate

The packaging wasn't great, looked like it had been bumped about a bit or used rather than brand new. Inside the box the disks had all become loose and weren't on their spindles. One of the spindles had actually cracked and there were little pieces of broken blue plastic inside the box.I tried a few to test them and noticed the blu-ray version of Saw VIII wouldn't work due to mismatched region. At least now I know the "region free" blu-ray player I bought from Amazon isn't actually region-free, at least not for blu-rays. The DVD version of Saw VIII that's also included worked fine, and I'm not too bothered personally as Saw VIII is my least favorite of the set anyway.I also tested the blu-ray containing Saw 2-4 which worked fine and as Saw 1-7 all had the same disk design I'm guessing those will be okay as well.Disk 1 has Saw 1 & 2, Disk 2 has Saw 3 & 4 & 5, Disk 3 has Saw 6 and 7. Disk 4 (the region locked one) has a different design and is just Saw 8.There are also 5 DVDs with Saw 1 and Saw 8 on their own disk and 2 movies on each of the others.The blu-rays use a Dolby Digital soundtrack though the one I tried (Saw 3) actually used Dolby Digital EX.The Saw 8 blu-ray is supposedly Atmos but that was the region locked one.Still, 8 movies at this price isn't a bad deal.

Christmas present

Boxset arrived crushed and split, containing 9 discs. 5 are meant to be UK compatible and 4 of them are, playing fine on our PS5 but the last disc containing the Jigsaw movie generated a 'Mismatch between disc and player region codes. ' message.The other 4 discs in the box I guess are region locked to USA, including an identical looking Jigsaw movie disc, as they all generate the 'Can't play this disk due to region restrictions' which is fine, but it would be nice if the discs that are meant to play in Region B areas actually did.The returns process is awful. Refund only, I'd of liked a replacement to check if this was a one-off and UPS drop off only. Our nearest is miles away & without easy access to a car is a real inconvenience.Pretty disappointed tbh.
