Plus Bewitching Witch Costume

This costume was a hit at my Halloween party. It is well made for a costume. There is no stretch to the fabric and I was ordering close to my event so I sized up just to be sure. It was a little loose in the top so I could have stayed in my size range and been fine I think. It was a bit shorter than I thought it was going to be, especially when putting on the belt to take up the slack in the fit of the top but pairing it with the petticoat took care of that and gave it a nice fullness. I am 5’6”, 200lbs, typically wear a 14-16 in dresses, and 38 DDD for reference. The fabric was slightly scratchy but not terribly uncomfortable. I was able to wear it for several hours without feeling too uncomfortable. The hat didn’t fit down on my head, I can generally wear child size hats, and there wasn’t an easy way to pin it down, it did fall off a few times while walking or if I walked in front of the fans at the venue. All in all I was very happy with the costume. Looks as described and arrived when it was predicted to. I added the gloves, petticoat, wig, and stockings.

I am 5’5, 248lbs and I ordered a 1x because the reviews said that they’re either too big or too small!The picture isn’t that good BUT it does come up a little above the knees, used this for work so with the petty coat as well underneath it was perfect!The arm holes/velvet part were a little too big and the dress itself was a tiny bit bigger than expected but I fit in it very nice! The belt kept folding under my jugs but nothing too major! Wore it for a full 7 hours and was great! Received a lot of compliments! Collar was a tad irritating but bearable 🥰The hat was cute and simple, the buttons on the top itself were lose but it wasn’t an issue. Overall, great costume and beautiful cute to wear out!

I absolutely loved this costume. I am 5'1 and 220 lbs and the XL plus fit great. The only reason I'm giving it 3 stars is because it came with a white stain in the front as if maybe someone had already used it before and returned it. When I tried to replace it for another one it wouldn't arrive til November 23 and I need it for Halloween. I called customer service and she wasn't much help in issuing a discount or anything since it arrived dirty.

I bought this for Halloween, and tried it on an hour ago. It fits great! I have a rectangular frame, and the billowing skirt gives you a tiny waist and wide hips. It's very flattering. The costume is also cute and classy looking.I had to dock one star because:1. I think the hat is a little too small. I struggled to fit it around my head.2. The skirt is on the shorter side, and since Im bottom heavy this was exaggerated. But, I bought the petticoat, so my backside is completely covered.3. The belt is also a bit cheap and mediocre looking. But it can be easily trimmed and fixed.

Is the sheer parts a little itchy in the arms? Yes. But is it totally worth it? Absolutely. Most defiantly will need to wear some leggings with this unless you like to show off a lot. It is true to size, and the witch hat doesn’t exactly fit your head but it honestly will not fall off if you look up or down so it works.So CUTE!

LOVED THIS COSTUME!!!! I’m 5’5, 190, and I had extra room, but it’s okay....the belt tucked the extra fabric in nicely, and it lays beautifully. Was very comfortable. I ordered the plus size. No itching. Others said it itches, but I didn’t notice it. This was my fave costume ever!! I added a pettycoat underneath (you should too) for fullness. I also added a wig and fishnets. (All for$25 extra) was well worth it. Got so many compliments!This is a great costume for all body sizes, it gives you curves in all the right places! Especially for larger gals (I can attest). I’ll post some pics.

I absolutely love this costume!! However, it runs EXTREMELY large! I typically wear anything from a 14 to a 20 (5'5", 180 lbs. w/ large bottom and smaller waist, 38C), depending on the brand. I originally purchased a 3x/4x thinking a size up is usually necessary when costume shopping (for me anyhow). IT WAS HUGE! I returned it for free (thank you Amazon!) and replaced it with the 1x/2x. The smaller costume fits much better, but is still a little large in the bust and waist and it is much shorter than the larger costume. I will have to do a bit of "creative safety pinning" but I am not too worried. I purchase Leg Avenue costumes almost every year (the Snow White costume is great!) and this was the first time I had a costume run so large.
