Productivity boost and an excellent Accessibility tool! (Great for gaming, too :P )
I'm now on my third Corsair SCIMITAR mouse in 5 years, so why the 5 star review? Because when it works, it works REALLY well. I tried using a Redragon and even a no-brand mouse, and, the difference is just night and day in terms of software support, to wit: Corsair iCue actually does what it's supposed to do.People like to rag on iCue and Synapse, and, yeah, Synapse I've found to be less usable than iCue (even though iCue has a higher learning curve), but iCue saves your profiles per application. This means you can have your entire Photoshop or DaVinci Resolve workflow bound right under your thumb. These mice aren't just for gaming, and if more people realized that, they'd be a *lot* more common.Story time! I use mine primarily as an accessibility aid, as I am legally blind. So when I'm not using it for workflow things or actual gaming (I play World of Warcraft and Final Fantasy XIV and it's a game changer, literally!), I have it set up so that at the touch of a button, I can zoom in or out using Windows or Linux magnifier software, I can activate either an on demand screen reader to read what's under my mouse, or in Firefox activate the ReadAloud browser extension (Ctrl+P or Ctrl+O to start/stop respectively). The extra buttons are set to various media controls (Play, Next, etc.) for convenience.Did I mention that iCue automatically swaps profiles depending on what application is in focus? So if I'm playing World of Warcraft for example, I alt tab out to check Wowhead and iCue intelligently swaps to the Default accesibility profile. When I switch back, it goes back to my game specific profile. Same for editing photos or video, or audio in Reaper (I wear many hats!)My advice: get it, but get the 4 year protection plan. It's an extra $13 for the peace of mind that, if it does only last 2 years (like my last two, but to be fair they were not the "Elite" version) then you can get it replaced for free and get another 2 years. And if it lasts longer than 4 years, that's a heck of a deal for under $100 for the productivity and gaming boost!

Remember To Know The Mouse-Settings, Critical for understanding The Use of This Mouse
Works Great!! It's good for 'large hands'. Learn the tricks of this mouse, and the DPI -Settings as each press on the scrolling mouse button manipulates how fast you want your mouse to be zooming across your monitor. Good value for regular and gaming mouse.

Wish it didn't non-function when switching via KM switch
I was looking for something to replace my MX518, because for some reason that manufacturer keeps not wanting money. So I was looking for heft and also something large that my palm can rest comfortably on.Well, I got both, and it's pretty nice. I just bound the 1 key to spacebar so I can move and jump in most MMOs pretty easily, and the 3 and 6 keys are forward and back. The back half keys are unbound, so I can just click and fidget with them. There's only two main issues:1. Unless the iCUE program is running when the mouse is plugged in, any unbound keys will revert to the default keybind. This is worked around easily by binding those keys to an empty text macro, but the iCUE software is frustrating (seriously, can't select a menu entry and press the delete key on my keyboard to delete it, plus there's no sequential bound option that a lot of keyboard software tends to have, so it's so, so much clicking just to get the keys bound). Weird workaround, but it worked. I was also able to get it down to the only 2 DPI settings I wanted as well as deleting all but one profile (because I don't really need multiple profiles at this point).2. The more impactful one, I use my mice with a keyboard and mouse switcher, and half the time when it connects back to my main PC, the mouse won't be functional, so I either have to cycle through the 4 keyboard-mouse options I have again to reconnect it, or I need to unplug and replug the mouse in. I think there's a weird race condition with how it boots up, which is frustrating, which could be fixed easily by storing just a bit of power so the mouse doesn't have to reboot just because the PC connection changed.Overall, pretty good, but could be better. Still a worthy contender to replace my MX518, because all the other (more expensive, not-button-endowed, and, worst of all, smaller) mice have been woefully worse compared to this.

Great for gaming
Wife missed her gaming mouse so got this. It really helped her be more efficient in gaming and enjoy it more. I don't understand how it works but she loves it lol
