I bought the Thompson for my son for his birthday which was on his list. I believe the price is good for what you get. The details seem spot on but it's been a while since I've had the real one in hand. It shoots well and it has a long and close range aiming rear sight, safety switch, single and full auto switch and charging bolt knob and all these parts work fine. The magazine has good weight to it and hold 30 BB's and two Co2 12g cartridges. When loading the Co2 , the first one goes in small tip first then the second one goes in with the small tip the opposite direction. When screwing the closer cap for the Co2, keep tightening until you hear both cartridges puncture sound of gas escaping, and stop when you hear the second cartridge stop leaking. Doing this will give you full power and be able to shoot 120 BB's, give it take a few depending on how fast you shoot. The faster you shoot the less pressure you have in a CO2 cartridges. If you shoot moderately, the CO2 will last longer. Now the full auto on this is really cool, the single shot is fun too. I might be a good idea to buy an extra magazine since reloading is a little bit of a pain cuz you have to retract the magazine spring then be able to put the BBS in without dropping them all over the place, but either way it's still fun. Right now I believe the only thing I wish was different on the gun is that the foregrip and buttstock were made of real wood, the materials of a plastic material that looks like wood which keeps it lighter in weight. So far no issues with this gun and we shot it a good amount. So far everybody in the family had a great time shooting the Thompson.

This thing is super cool and lots of fun to shoot. Magazine holds 30 bbs and you can get about 4 magazines out of two co2 cartridges. It's surprisingly accurate and pretty hard hitting. Definitely not for the casual bb gun user.If playing a match with this thing, be prepared for pain. Full protective gear will be needed because this will penetrate skin at close range and hurt through jeans even at medium range.As for accuracy to the real thing, it's as close as you could expect to an actual Thompson. The full auto option shoots incredibly fast and the semi option fires as fast as you can pull the trigger. Its weight is hefty and aside from the plastic grip and stock it feels like you're holding a real Thompson.All in all it's a good buy. I've enjoyed messing with it.*IMPORTANT NOTE*It will NOT fire when empty. The directions indicate that you should test fire it empty before loading it but this is not possible without locking the bb push spring down. The instructions do not say this so I was under the assumption the co2 cartridges had not engaged and managed to almost destroy the o-ring by over tightening it. So. Lock the pusher down before test firing to ensure it is functioning.

Enjoyed this product. over 1000 rounds shot and no jams at this point. I use Hornady Black Diamond .177 BB. I do maintain and oil mechanisms and use pell oil on the cartridges as needed. Accurate and powerful for the design.. Shoots about 400-430 FPS using Chronograph. Inexpensive product compared to higher caliber SMG if you like the fact of owning a fully automatic SMG while still legal with no restrictions in majority of the US. A course, real SMG lawfully is expensive and requires numerous certificates and criteria that needs to be met. Hours of fun target shooting and plinking. Let alone great looking replica.

Details are spot on, it’s a lot of fun to use and has a good weight to it. Feels great to shoot. It will go well with my WW2 American uniform I’m building.

I haven’t made a purchase like this before so at first I was thinking the price was a little high but my son loves ww2 stuff so for him I took a chance and ordered one.Once he opened it, wow. It feels like real wood, all metal so it’s on the heavier side (just like the real one). Has a safety switch, single and full auto mode. Co2 tanks load into the magazine as do the BBs.We went outside to shoot it and was amazed again at how accurate it shoots in both full auto and single shot. We went through 6 co2 tanks and the gun never jammed. Amazing work of art! I will stick with this brand if it lasts as long as it should.After I purchased it the price dropped by a good margin and Amazon said to take advantage of that I would have to return it and buy it again which I think is absolutely ridiculous. I decided to just keep it and not go through that hassle.

Quite nice! Though a tad off.First this is like a combo of the M1 and M1A1. Probably in the best way possible though. The M1 had a side cut for a drum, but kept the original knob with pin selector design. This one doesn’t have a drum option (but please make a 4 cartridge drum for this beast) yet it comes with the original selector design.I noticed the detection system for being out of ammo can jam in quite narely ways. Has chewed the front of the bolt up a bit. Still seems to work however.My one complaint is it sprays all shots in under 2 seconds. I wouldn’t mind a slower fire rate! I am unsure if there is a way to adjust that but I’d prefer it.I think the best thing that could be done is remaking this with a finned barrel, fore-grip, drum cut, and the original top charging handle design IE the M1928A1.My experience started with the Uzi design. This far exceeds that. Just hope they make a OG design tommy someday.

simply a blast to shoot, have had a lot of fun with this an its full auto is fun.

I bought this for my husband and he loves it. It's heavy and seems well made. He's happy so I'm happy.
