Sharp tang will cut you but good for throwing otherwise
They are sharp and not in a nice way. After a few throws and retrieving then one of them cut me. Not from the blade but THE TANG.the tang and use some sanding on those sharp 90° edges.Overall the tips are definitely going to bend break after a week of throwing

Great value, lots of fun!
I made axe throwing targets out of scrap 2x4s and some punky log rounds. I bought these half as a joke, as something else to throw at the targets. I had no idea how fun and satisfying throwing these would be. They are light but tough. 3/5 on durability because the tips dull quickly, but that doesn’t impact performance. They have survived me and several family & neighbors learning to throw. That has been a lot of abuse. We lost 2 but never broke any. It took a lot of practice to get consistent and the feeling of sticking a throw is bliss. But what really feels great is teaching someone else to throw a knife and help them to land a throw. It’s been really gratifying, never thought I’d get this many smiles, cheers, and high-fives out of an inexpensive pack of throwing knives.

Amazed I'm the first to review these.
New to throwing knives so I purchased several of different weights and sizes to experiment with (Ridge Runners set of 12 package, USA, Naruto, Cold steel, silver wing style thowers, etc). Out of all the knives (with the exception of Gil Hibbens knives which are VERY nice but spendy) I prefer these.Good weight, good feel, don't care if I damage them as they are cheap. I use them to practice with rather than beat up my nicer knives (good idea as I'm a rookie). When I get better I will still use these knives but I will not be so scared do damage my better knives.Don't get me wrong, the ridge runners and a few of the other similar style blades that size work great but they don't stick as deep and are more likely to bounce off the target (Currently using pine with laminated cardboard clamped too the front). Then again, the ridge runners are around 1-1.5OZ ? These are around 4-4.5? Either way, It's fun to alternate between these and the smaller versions made by other companies.A word of advise, if you plan on using the no spin technique consider how it will effect your release given the type of knife before you buy a bunch of random knives like I did. I use my index finger to balance the knife as it leaves my hand (literally feel it run across the back of the handle till it's released). I'm learning to throw with the others (I enjoy challenges) but I'm struggling terribly. I have landed all 12 knives into a 2'x2' target from 10 feet away (first day throwing too!) with this style knife thanks too the smooth and almost strait handle. The case isn't that bad LOOKING either.....If you want to keep it in once piece I suggest finding a way to line the pockets with something that will prevent the blade from cutting through the sides.....

Too light my
They are decent set of knives but for throwing they need some weight to him. They're way too light. They just bounce off Target

Nice Set of twelve 8-Inch Throwing-Knives Is A Total Blast!
We ordered this set as it appeared to contain a lot of knives for the price! And we were not disappointed when we tried them! We're not the most experienced knife-throwers, but this set is helping us develop our skills. They're well-balanced and provide a nice, satisfying "Whump!" as they stick firmly into our cedar end-grain target. The knives have a nice heft and are well-balanced and easy to throw. We've used them quite a bit and they've held up well to our efforts to improve our throwing techniques. They've sharpened up nicely when needed. We love this set!

Beautiful...Can't Bring Myself to Actually Throw Them
If you are into this sort of aesthetic then these are probably too pretty to throw or sharpen. The coloring has a sort of reflective illusion that makes it look almost like semi-translucent colored glass or gemstones, especially the blue and purple. As a beginner, I won't speak to the accuracy, but the weight balance is good.If I absolutely had to throw them then I would buy a second set just for display.
