I bought this as a replacement battery for my Dell laptop and it was so easy to install, came with all the tools and instructions. I am up and running just like new again! Great replacement battery for a good cost!

Exact replacement for my Type 357F9 Dell battery. They even provided all the tools needed. Phillips head screwdriver for the back panel. A "guitar pick" device to help get the back panel off. A screwdriver for the 5 hex head screws holding the battery down.Remember to discharge any static electricity between you and the computer before opening. Booted-up fine with no error messages. Battery was received charged at 70%. They have you do 3 cycles of charging to 95% and discharging to 5% to condition the battery.

So far so good. Battery is working. Price was good.

Works with Inspiron 15 5577. The installation was simple and the battery is compatible.It will last about 2 years. I initially purchased on June 21, 2021 and a few weeks ago from the time of this review, the battery has started to swell. This was from normal regular use, although I spend more time plugged in than not which is a contributing factor.Just reviewing so others can have a better idea of what to expect from this product. If you're plugged in to charge more often than not, then you may need to replace it semi-frequently. Otherwise I suspect it will only last a few months to a year longer.Granted it is still functionally normal right now, but a swollen battery is not a good sign and indicates the need to replace.

*UPDATE* Company provided full refund so changed rating from 3 to 4 stars.*UPDATE 2* Battery is not recognized at all anymore. Star rating dropped to 1 star due to quality.So, I work in the refurbished computer industry. I understand how to test how much capacity a battery can charge up to. This is what causes things to die faster than normal. This "new" battery was under 80% capacity. That's a fifth of the time I would normally be able to use the laptop on a full charge just gone.

I am so happy with this replacement battery. I have a dell 7559 inspiron 15, this laptop I had it for about 6-7years? Without having the power cord plugged in...it'll last about an hour if I am just using Word doc and typing, I can still do a little bit of web browsing. It makes it so inconvenient for school as I am more worried about finding outlets and sitting near the only ones available in a classroom. On top of that my laptop would literally freeze.... for 3 mins like every time I use it?? It seemed to resolve itself once I had changed the battery.I finally used the replacement battery.....and it was such a life-changer. My laptop lasted 8hrs+ as I was trying to calibrate it by killing all the power in it before charging it up. And that was right after the change of battery, the replacement battery had about 50% power too. I was auto-playing YouTube videos so yeah it lasted really long. After charging it up it took about 3-4hours and the battery lasted 12hours. Granted I did watch YouTube videos for a few hours (I need background noise) but the rest of the time I just had a bunch of tabs open for research papers. Overall, very happy with this battery!
