Anolon Nouvelle Copper Hard Anodized Nonstick Sauce Pan/Saucepan/Saucier, 2.5 Quart, Brown, Sable

I replaced a heavy old Calphalon pot with this one, and it turned out to be a great choice. Even heat distribution, very easy to clean, and I don't need two hands to move the full pot from the stove to the sink to drain pasta. Very nice pot and lid.

Perfect size, good looking, heats evenly. I got another size after I bought the first one.

Refer to photosThe old stainless pot shares the exact name as the new one. However the amount of copper on the new one is about half that of the old one. The entire bottom plate is much small, has to be used on smaller burners.The glass cover of the original has been replaced with a stainless steel one.The new pot is much easier to clean, however it is recommended that you not place it in your dishwasher.The original being stainless inside and out had no issues be cleaned in the dishwasher.Now that I have used it, I wish I had returned it.
